55Very nice, big space for the dogs to run around in. Once we figured out that the chain link section of the fence next to the house was the gate to get it, it was great!Andy B.

55We had a hard time finding the gate at first, but eventually got in. (It's to the left of the house- chain link gate while the rest of the fence is livestock/wildlife fencing--in case you run into the same thing). Aside from the that, this is an epic piece of land- a lovely, rolling property-surrounded on all sides but countryside and picturesque farmland. It was so serene and restful (except for all the walking I had to do to get my dogs frisbees--lol- he's not so good at bringing them back). The owners clearly take a lot of pride in their property! So well-manicured and mowed, and so much room for my pup to roam and explore and chase frisbees! the 8 ft tall fencing was superb, and there was a supply of dog poop bags, and bug spray, seating, a gigantic bowl of water for thirsty dogs, and lots of privacy. We really appreciate you sharing your beautiful yard with us- we will most definitely be back!Mary B.

55We give it 12 paws and 2 thumbs up! Pups had a great time and Mandy was so kind! Plenty of shaded areas for us to stay cool and they loved all the new smells! We’d love to come back! Thank you for having us! Jolene S.

55Amazing sniffspot, the 8 foot tall fencing was very secure and host was communicative. Tons of room for my reactive dog to run and explore without triggers. I’m only sad that we don’t live closer so we can’t visit more often. Thank you Mandy! Alyssa R.

FAQ about our Pound dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Pound area are 5 stars.
