Lucy and I had such an enjoyable time here. So much space to just run around and explore- will definitely be back :)

This Sniffspot is fantastic! The setting is beautiful, in the hills, and it feels very rural. There is a strong chain link fence around the entire perimeter and a sloping hill in the back. There’s a nice shady spot to sit with fresh water and bowls for your dog, as well as a bin of toys and chuck its to play with. We went at 10am on a weekday and it was very quiet in the neighborhood, we only saw one other person and their dog walking up a nearby driveway. Melissa was a kind, communicative host and it was easy to park and open the gate to go inside the field. My dog had a great time sniffing, chasing toys, and relaxing!

Amazing spot! There was chuck it sticks & nerf balls that my boy Boone was able to enjoy. There’s a tree w a bench under it & two bowls filled w water & extra in a jug. Thanks for having us and we’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time here!! Lots of room for frisbee and fetch and my dogs appreciated the water bowls and shady areas after running around like crazy. It’s a pretty quiet area and the fencing is secure. There’s several seating areas and even a dog bed for tired pups. 10/10 overall!

The space was amazing and my pup had the best time just sniffing around. There was cold water all over and chairs in the shade. Will definitely be back. They took care to cut all the weeds and foxtails down, there were a few stragglers here and there in the dirt but we didn’t have issue with them. Foxtail season is almost over hallelujah! Melissa was responsive and informative. Thank you for sharing your space! We are so grateful.

This spot had everything we could have hoped for. It is very thoughtfully laid out, with tennis balls, toys, and plenty of water available, and several places for humans to sit down. We will definitely be coming to this spot again!

My dogs had an amazing time! Plenty of space for them to run about freely, completely fenced and very quiet and secure. Melissa was very responsive, kind, and thoughtful; she even provided towels ahead of time because we visited when it was slightly drizzly out! Lots of fun toys provided and fresh water for the dogs, it’s a very well thought out space. We will definitely be back again!

Perfect, absolutely PERFECT!! This sniffspot has it ALL! Massive amounts of flat land for endless zooms, inclines for some extra cardio, trees for shade, chairs to sit, toys galore, FRESH water in multiple areas, trash bins and 💩 bags a plenty…. Oh! and Melissa the host even put out a bin of towels for us to use if my dogs paws became muddy due to the rain today…..need I say more? The perimeter of the property is awesomely fenced and mega secure (even privacy screening on one side). This truly is what I’ve been searching for, for my dog!! Thank you times a million! - we WILL be back!! Almaden Acres, you rock 🤘🏻

Fully fenced, open area for dogs to explore and chase each other. Some shade and water stations, plus toys available. I will definitely add it to my rotation of places to play!

YAY!! Such an amazing sniffspot so close to us. My two dogs had SUCH a great time and the host Melissa is incredibly responsive! There were plenty of water bowls, poop bags, trash cans, and seats. It was completely secure and I felt incredibly confident about letting my dogs off leash to explore!

Almaden Acres is a really good Sniffspot, we’d definitely visit again and would recommend it. It’s one of the largest fully fenced SniffSpot in South Bay. The location is easy to find, instructions for parking and accessing the yard are pretty clear. The fence is pretty secure, even my small-medium mini Aussie wouldn’t be able to get out through any of gaps. There are a lot of benches and chairs kept thoughtfully under the shade of trees. Melissa even filled fresh water in the bowls- of which there are several- in different corners of the yard. I love that the yard is sloping a little to one end, the dogs had fun running up and down the slope. It was not overgrown, no foxtails or anything like that. Overall, the place was perfect for our pups!

I can't thank this sniffspot enough for allowing my reactive dogs to have a carefree place to explore. The owner provided water, toys, places to sit, and so much more! My dogs were running around so much that I could barely get them to sit down for a photo.

My dog had a great time! The sniffspot is a large fully fenced space with plenty of room for my dog to run around. There were lots of toys and water available for my dog and also a nice seating area. Would definitely come back again if it opens back up.

There are ripe fruit trees on the way to the back- avocado, grapefruit, and orange. My dog was thrilled to meet their goat. There is enough space to build up speed and get a good run in. Lots of fresh water and bowls. Comfortable chairs with a tent over it for shade. There are a lot of foxtails and burs. The host provided a good sized brush and let me hose my dog down which pretty much cancels it out. There are large rocks to climb on. Not the place for you if your dog is a scavenger or chewer as there are a number of junk piles on the perimeter of the field. More than enough toys and a few elevated dog beds. My dog didn't care for the agility equipment but still worth the visit. He is very tired and happy. The host has two dogs himself (one impressive dutch shepherd named a woman's name (karen, because she is not a pushover) and a male who is also trained in protection). Both were contained and had no contact with my pup. There is a tenant who can only access his place through the run where your dog is so theres a chance someone else will move through the space, however it is my understanding you would get notice and he would move directly between the gate and his door. He is employed so apparently is not expected to be there during normal work hours. The space works very well for large dogs and multiple dogs. I took some fruit to go and the host is friendly. My dog really loved the goat

Loved this space! So much room for my dogs to explore and play fetch. There was even some hilly areas to tire them out even more. An added bonus was how nice the owner was and all of the fruit trees! We will definitely be returning on a consistent basis.

Our dogs had fun here! The area is fully fenced with chairs, some shade, and lots of fresh water set out. There is a goat named Jeff who is safely in his own fenced area. The owner is great and was there to greet us and see us out.

Had a blast with my pittie at Jake's place and we'll be back soon! It's not dry, rocky or mulched like other places within similar driving distance so I wasn't worried about paw injuries. The area is huge with shaded areas, and Jeff the goat was super sweet and chill/napping in his separate pen. The agility equipment was fun to train with and Jake even gave me training tips for new equipment since he's a pro dog trainer. He gave me a thorough run down of the area since it was my first visit and even brought out a Chuck it wand for us to borrow. My pup is currently passed out several hours ahead of schedule so this spot gets a 5/5 from him (and me). Yes there are foxtails around per other reviews, most are still green and none bothered my dog but if you have a long haired dog it could be a nuisance.
