Hi we are the MontyPaw Yard. We’re homesteaders on just under an acre of property. Situated directly above (South) of Black Swan Lake. We are on a partially wooded lot. Fall through winter you and early spring you can see clear to downtown Kansas City and there’s a gorgeous view of the lake.

Enjoy trees to sniff and a cozy covered patio with comfortable seating to kick back on. Guest WiFi is available. Turn on the patio TV loaded with streaming apps and catch a show or game. Bring a meal and settle in at our outdoor dining table. Welcoming patio string lights are available to plug in after dark, emanating a soft glow into the yard. Beautiful landscaped large yard. Easy access location, partial shade, picnic table and other seating options so you can bring a picnic! My Shih Tzu lives here and would love some friends. Ample driveway or street park. Very nice mature neighborhood. Close to amenities such as several restaurants, car wash, Walgreens and Hy-Vee right across the street. Come check it out!

I am eager to have your dog or dogs enjoy my dog friendly space. Play with the hose or relax at one of the tables with or without a patio umbrella. Please bring poop bags and take your pup’s poops away when you leave. You’ll see a dog motif tote bag with a few balls to enjoy. No worries if they get torn up. They are toys; use at your own risk.

Hi everyone, Welcome to Donna's Dog Park! We offer 2 acres of fully fenced fun for your furry friend. There are flat, wide open areas, mature trees and semi wooded spots in the yard. Your dog(s) can run, sniff, roll and play to their heart's content. We have 2 water stations, 2 baskets filled with toys and treats for your pet. For the humans, we have 3 different seating areas. An open area on the patio with 4 tables and chairs and an umbrella that you can open/close depending on your preferce. There is also a covered patio with a ceiling fan, a table and 6 chairs. There is a basket on the table with sun screen, bug spray, wet wipes and hand sanitizer for your use. Waste bags are provided in the basket as well. The third seating area will be ready soon and is on the raised back porch which is also covered. It has an outdoor love seat, chairs and a hammock and provides a nice spot to sit and watch your dogs. We've recently opened and I've ordered a sign for the park entrance which should arrive in a week or so. We will have water features and an agility course in the near future. Our goal is to provide a clean safe space where your dog(s) can have a pawsitive experience. We welcome your feedback and will do all we can to ensure a pawsitive experience for everyone.

Handlers enter off-leash area at their own risk. Handlers must clean up after their dogs and dispose of all trash. Dogs may never be left unattended and must be under voice control at all times. There is a maximum of four (4) dogs per adult handler. Owners are responsible legally and financially for the actions of their dogs. Aggressive dogs should not be brought into the area, and any dog must be removed immediately if aggressive behavior is noted. Dogs must be healthy and free of parasites, properly licensed, vaccinated, and not in heat. No puppies under four months old are allowed. Children 8 years and under are not allowed in the off leash dog area; children ages 9-15 must be accompanied by an adult. An adult handler is considered anyone over 16 years of age. Dogs must be leashed when outside of the fenced area. Handler should have the leash in hand when inside of the area. No human food is permitted in the fenced/off leash area. Handlers using dog treats must assume the risk of safe handling. Prong, choke and spike collars must be removed for safety reasons. Handlers are subject to all applicable city ordinances.

Turn down this beautiful, secluded, tree-lined drive and wind your way toward 36 acres of organic sniffing and running fields, rolling pastures, wooded acreage, spring-fed stream and stocked pond. You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and guest house to this restored, historic 1890s house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. I live on 4.5 acres and have about 1 acre fully fenced off. You and your pup or pups will be away from other houses and in the country. No city shenanigans. No other animals loose on the property and you have it all to yourself. I have a pup pool and it is K9 friendly, safe, and is 1 foot deep. Just added an automatic tennis ball launcher for the pups and available upon request. Entrance would be down road on Cedar Niles, then left into my driveway that is north of my external shop, and the drive leads you straight to my fenced off area (see map in the photo section). I have signage and orange flags to guide you in. You can park outside of the 10-foot main gate and walk into my Sniff Spot. Or you can open the main gain, drive in, close the gate, and then let your pup or pups out. 08/08/2024 Update - Privacy fencing will soon be put up on the east and south fenceline on the Sniff Spot. Property including entrance to fenced off area monitored and recorded by security cameras (They will alert me when you arrive and leave). As you can see with the pictures, I have a main open play area and then trails going through the thicker/overgrown grass. There is a 55g freshwater barrel and a drink tub for your pup right inside the entry and you can't miss it when you walk in. I have an umbrella set up to get you out of the sun (You can wind it up and down) and chairs to relax on while the pup or pups play. I have a TON of complimentary toys provided and LOTS of tennis balls for you pup or pups if you don’t have any (Please just put them all back). Dog poo baggies provided and at three different areas when you walk in. Trash bucket on-site to throw away dog poop and trash to keep the area clean. I have 150ft of patio lighting and an a LED flood light around the main area of the Sniff Spot. The lights are bright and now you can book late evening into sundown, even night visits if you choose. I am in a profession where I sometimes work nights and sleep during the day. My Sniff Spot is open 24/7 and I also cater to the day sleepers and night folks. You can book at 2:00am if you choose. The main area of the Sniff Spot is fully lit with the hung patio lights. Pictures are posted. Please clean up after yourself and leave everything as it was. This is very important for the next guests, my Sniff Spot stays VERY busy, and I at times I don't have time to inspect my SS before the next bookings. Hello and welcome to Howling Moon Private Dog Park! We are a family of 4 with 2 pups of our own that strives to make a great experience for you and your pup to enjoy time with nature! We are off road in a pasture, which makes for beautiful and serene landscape while letting your pup get some energy out! Fully fenced 1 acre with plenty of toys, shade and sitting areas, both you and your pups are sure to have a great time! For the pups, we have, water, tennis balls, rope pulls, Frisbee and large toy balls! For the humans we have benches on each side of the perimeter, a hammock chair in one corner, a full hammock in another corner, a swing bench up front and a picnic table with an umbrella in the center! In the storage bin is hand sanitizer, poo bags and band aids as well. (Please note, the hammocks are kept in the storage unit in the park. Feel free to set them up if you would like to use them!) Come out and get your steps in while taking in the scenery and watching your pup play with excitement! See you soon!
