35Does not look like the pictures at all. Everything was overgrown. A lot of obstacles throughout the yard. There was also rain water sitting in a kid toy that you probably wouldn’t want your dog to drink. I didn’t see a garbage or fresh drinking water (definitely bring your own). Both dogs I had there loved to run and chase each other and they were leaping over things/hiding under stuff. It was okay but wouldn’t go again
55Thank you for a nice visit
55The boys loved playing here!
55Had a wonderful time playing fetch! Easy access, plenty of room to play, run around :)
55We had fun!
55We enjoyed visiting with our two big dogs! The yard is a great size and the fence was very secure. They had a great time running around and exploring. Thank you for sharing your space with us!
55This was so nice! Jack really enjoyed sniffing around & playing frisbee. Thank you for leaving water for Jack & poop bags, I appreciated both! So generous of you to let others enjoy your beautiful backyard.
55Very nice backyard, very accommodating host!
45Very cute spot - Thank you!
55Beautiful yard with shade! Comfortable even with temps in the high 80s. Very friendly and helpful host. Plenty of space for pup to run and play. Will definitely return!

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Water is available via the hose located on the fence near the trash can. The white plastic container can be filled as needed. Please dump the water when you are finished and place the bowl upside down to keep it from collecting rainwater. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
