55We had a lovely time, thank you!
55Another excellent visit...so many options to keep my busy dog occupied. She really enjoys the digging pit!
55Dragonfly was a pleasant fun experience for our reactive dog and doggy that loves to explore. Would go again 👍
55Our girls had a great time and loved trying out the agility course
55We had a blast today with our 7 dogs despite it being pouring down rain. A lot of care has been taken to make Dragon Fly Farm extra special. There’s a trailer with toys, sticks, wipes, water, treats, etc. Best of all there was umbrellas!!! That saved the day since 2 of us forgot our coats in the mayhem of loading up 7 dogs. The agility area is very nice with a great mix of items to work on. The trails are really fun with lots of surprises along the way. It’s a top spot for sure. My dogs are exhausted and laying by the fire after their Funday Sunday
55The kiddos had a marvelous time at Dragonfly Farm. For dogs who prefer woods and trails over wide open fields, this is their version of nirvana 😍 there really is lots to explore and I used my Gaia app to map our adventure which was great too! Some things to note: there aren’t any obvious running water sources in the trail area so I recommend bringing a travel bowl and a bottle of water so you don’t have to keep walking to the agility area for water (they graciously provide tons of stuff and a hose at the guest cabin). Also, if you aren’t SURE of your dogs recall this place might be tricky. There’s TONS AND TONS of space to explore, but there are other properties near by abut the property if you walk to the edges. So just be aware. Thankfully my kids decided the know the value of their freedom today 😉 We started off in the agility area to burn off some steam and do any business while we were still close to the trash can and then we entered the trails. I don’t think we hit the same trail twice. There’s so many!! A lot of them are freshly dug so in the rain they are muddy so I recommend very sturdy, water proof shoes and depending on your stability a hiking pole might even serve you well. Overall this property is the dream and we are all super lucky that Linda has allowed us access to it!!
55Well secured fenced area with lots of fun things to do with the dogs, a trailer full of activities (for people and kids) and toys for the dogs, my dogs loved the huge CollieBall. Absolutely nothing against this Sniffspot at all, but we couldn't use the trails because the neighbors (5) dogs were barking the whole hour we were there and were about 4 feet away from the trail fence. The trails looked awesome though.
55Great place for our little guys. Agility tools are great way to turn learning into fun. We will be back.
55I really enjoyed our visit to dragonfly farms. Lots of different paths to explore and smells to sniff. The forest is peaceful. If i I had younger children they’d definitely be hounding me to go back to work on the fairy village or play on the playground. The trailer full of toys and treats was a great bonus.
55The pack had a grand time at Dragonfly Farm today! It didn't rain on us, but that doesn't mean that everybody didn't get wet! Between waterdrops falling off of tree branches, the wading pool and the creek, everybody got their fair share of wet and glorious mud. The pups started playtime running around the doggy playground, digging in the sandbox, chasing balls, and splashing in the pool. Later, we walked out to the trails for exploring, sprinting, and sniffs galore. Then back to the fun zone for more zoomies, wrestling and splashing. Everyone left happy and exhausted, sleeping all the way back to West Seattle 💤

Hazards

Tripping hazards in pasture, woodlands and forest (rocks, vines, branches, uneven surfaces). It is the great outdoors in its natural beauty. Walking paths have been cleared. I suggest wearing closed toe comfortable shoes. We purchased this property in 2017, naming it Dragonfly Farms in loving memory of my mom. It took years to rehab the house and property, turning it into a small family focused hobby farm. My fondest memories are of a carefree childhood on a small farm. My siblings and I would head out to play first thing in the morning and not return until the dinner bell rang. We ate from the fruit trees and garden. We drank from the garden hose. We climbed trees, built forts, designed playgrounds in nature, explored the woods, splashed in creeks, played with our pets and used our imaginations to be whoever we wanted to be. I always felt safe and loved the creative freedom our parents cultivated in us. I want my children, grandchildren, family and friends to have the same opportunities I had as a child. Hence, Dragonfly Farm was developed. It is important to me that we provide a safe space for generations of carefree childhood memories to be made. Dragonfly Farm officially opened our “Private family and dog friendly park” in August 2024. Note: There are two Dragonfly Farms in Snohomish, we are NOT the one raising mini pigs and rabbits. However, that would be an adventure for another day!

Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, check out Sniffpass. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you have older dog/s and would like to drive below the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. But I would unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest..'
