We live in a neighborhood that is all single family homes so as you can expect, many of our neighbors have dogs. Please PM for details BEFORE booking!*** Charming urban oasis located within minutes of Downtown Minneapolis. Yard is flat and spacious with partial shade most of the day. Relax under umbrellas on the patio or by the fire pit while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals during the summer, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3

My beloved miniature little brown poodle, Morty Mocha Wonka, once captured a fast rabbit in the side yard park that was bigger than himself, thus, Elvis Presley became his friend, and Morty was no longer a “Hound Dog” For warm or hot sunny days, the Red Maple Tree in the play area will provide you with instant shade, and it is the perfect spot for provided chair(s) where you can throw optional provided numerous rubber ball toys to your dog(s) to play fetch & retrieve. Perhaps your dog(s) would like to take a run thru the 12 ft nylon agility tube, the adjustable garden hose nozzle will provide you the option to relieve yourself(s) and dog(s) with a cold refreshing mist, including sanitized stainless steel water dish(es) at your disposal, For clean up, towels, hand sanitizer & plastic small poop bags are at your disposal with a trash can to get rid of anything undesirable. It would make me very happy to know your dog(s) are enjoying the converted side yard private dog park, as my beloved dogs did, especially my white standard poodle Buddy, who the dog park is named after. We have dog boarding in our home, very small scale, only 1-3 families board in our home at a time. Check out our Rock Creek Critter Care Facebook page for boarding info. Snow/mud/grass/amenities will change with the seasons. Please ask any questions you may have before booking as this is a new endeavor for us! The dog fence does share a fence line with the paddock for my horse and goat, please be respectful of the other critters on the yard as we do have an indoor/outdoor cat as well. Mon-Fri mornings are not available for 1st time bookings, as I am not available for a meet/greet. I have 3 acres fully fenced in. Parts range from 4' - 6' tall. There are wooded areas, tall grass, low grass, sand, and endless sticks and room to run. More than enough room for your dog to enjoy. Many different shaded areas, shelter from the weather, and area that blocks the wind. My advice and knowledge is free. I'm more than happy to help. Also have treats, balls, and bottled water for small fee. Water for dogs is always free. I have a large 30x25 deck with couch, chairs, shelter, table and umbrella for humans to sit and relax also. Fire pit is available. Must purchase from host. ($5) bundle.

We have a large fenced area with 6ft tall chainlink fence. Great for any dog, especially large breeds that need to stretch those legs! Plenty of space for fetch and lots of new smells to sniff! The area has a double entry, so when you go through the first gate you will be in a small fenced area, and then you enter the second gate to get to the larger area. Come enjoy our expansive, completely fenced-in backyard, which is roughly 3/4 of an acre. We are happy to share our backyard with dog(s) and their owners who would like to have a very large, private place for their dogs to run, sniff, and play. The area is on the edge of a rural setting. Enjoy expanses of wide open area as hayfields surround our property. There are many areas for the humans to sit and watch their dog(s) run around and have fun. There is a picnic table, benches, tables/chairs, and gliders. Have fun watching our critters whose pens are just on the other side of our backyard. We have horses, a miniature horse, a miniature donkey, alpacas, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens. (Dogs are not allowed in with the farm animals.) We have a fenced in garden area within the backyard. The garden is surrounded by rose bushes. In the middle is a courtyard with glider benches around a propane fire pit, a table/chairs, with a tiered water fountain in the middle. (Dogs not allowed within the garden area.) Enjoy the many types of birds that fly overhead on their way to Peltier Lake. There are also Sandhill cranes that show up periodically, as well as turkeys & geese. Treat your dog to a wide open area to sniff, play, and run to their heart’s content. Treat yourself to a pleasant setting that is like no other. We look forward to your visit!
