55This is a pretty trail through wooded area. It is well away from roads to work on off leash or long line. The trail does go near other houses but we did not encounter any dogs or people. We did see chipmunks, squirrels, deer, cats and a turtle! There was a lot of poison ivy that I do notice because I get it so easy. But it is the woods! So wear socks and sturdy shoes. Definitely recommend.Debra B.

55This sniff spot was perfect for my pups! They loved running through the woods and they especially loved looking at the chickens on the property! There was a water bowl, hose, dog treats, and a small towel accessible for my pups! I definitely recommend visiting here!Sarah D.

55Excellent spot! 10/10 would recommend. The trails were great (currently covered with leaves so watch your step). There was water and dog bug spray. The property was massive and we easily spent two hours wandering around and playing fetch.Bailey S.

55Both my dogs had a lot of fun here. These spots are so nice to have as one of mine is very anxious and reactive to people and dogs. We were able to enjoy the woods all by ourselves. Evan N.

FAQ about our Sunbury dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
