Four Paws Dog Park

DOG PARK RULES 1.) No Children under 12 years of age. No Rawhide, Food, Glass Containers or Smoking allowed inside the Greenwood Parks Dog Parks. 2.) All dogs must bear a permanent ID (collar tag or microchip) and display a current membership tag while inside the Greenwood Parks Dog Parks. Membership tags may be purchased at the Greenwood Community Center, 100 Surina Way, Greenwood, IN., (317) 881-4545. 3.) DO NOT ALLOW NON-MEMBERS ACCESS TO THE GREENWOOD PARKS DOG PARKS. YOUR MEMBERSHIP MAY BE REVOKED, AND NON- MEMBERS MAY BE FINED. 4.) All member dogs must have current shots for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella and all other vaccinations as required by law. Rabies tags must be worn and displayed by all dogs at all times. 5.) Dogs known to exhibit vicious, aggressive, or dangerous behavior are not permitted at any time. Dogs showing signs of aggression must be immediately leashed and removed from the parks. 6.) Dogs, owners and users creating a disturbance or violating posted rules MUST leave the Greenwood Parks Dog Parks if requested by City personnel or their designated agents. 7.) Dogs must be leashed before entering and exiting the Greenwood Parks Dog Parks. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE GATES ARE PROPERLY CLOSED BEHIND YOU. Let your dog off the leash between the first and second gate, so that your dog enters the park unleashed. Properly leash dog(s) before exiting the Dog Park. CHECK ALL EXITS BEFORE UNLEASHING YOUR DOG. 8.) Spaying and neutering is recommended. 9.) Dog owners must ALWAYS have a leash in hand for each dog they bring to the dog park. 10.) Trash receptacles and disposal bags are available for this purpose. 16.) Dogs that bark persistently are a nuisance and should be removed. 17.) Dogs are the only type of animals permitted inside the Greenwood Parks Dog Parks. 18.) Agility equipment is strictly intended for use by dogs only. No humans allowed on the agility equipment at any time. 19.) The maximum number of dogs permitted within a Greenwood Parks Dog Park at any given time is 40. 20.) The City of Greenwood reserves the right to close the park as needed, without notice, for maintenance and repairs.

Smock Bark Park

**Winter Update! If it has been below freezing for an extended period of time we will have a partially iced pond. It is NOT safe to have dogs running on the ice. Please message for current pond status and plan accordingly. A recall is needed when ice is present on the pond** Enjoy a fully fenced (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing) run through mowed grass, NEW tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days and there is a nearby Tractor Supply if your pup needs a spa treatment after their romp. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all. He is now in a wheelchair and doesn't explore the yard as much, so we'd like to share it. ~1/2 acre fully fenced yard (4ft chain link) that backs up to a field and woods. There are waste bags on a hook next to the back door if you need, you may leave them in the grey trash can around front of the garage. Fresh water is always in the bowl on the patio for your dogs- if you need a refill or to rinse off before leaving, feel free to turn on the hose, just please turn off when finished. UPDATE 8/20** There is some construction/development going on in the field direcrlt behind my yard. There may be workers/equipment/noise from approx 8am-5pm on weekdays. Weekday evenings and all day Saturday/Sunday have been generally quiet and there has been no work. Just FYI in case this might bother your dog(s). Emily's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Carmel

Lush, fully fenced backyard in quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. .5 acre space - plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while you sit and enjoy the area. Located right off 96th and Ditch, convenient for travelers on I-465, Highway 31, or Michigan Rd. We have no dogs, but do have small children and a cat. This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). Fort Harrison Dog Park Membership Rules and Etiquette You and your dog(s) are expected to behave with common courtesy and respect for the property as well as for other park users. This dog park is not a supervised facility. By using this dog park, you and anyone who accompanies you enter at your own risk and assume all responsibility and liability for the risks of unleashing your dog(s) in this facility. We realize that owner socialization is a great added value to the experience, but please remember that the dog owner's first priority is the proper supervision of his/her dog. You are required to abide by the rules and etiquette at all times while on the premises as described below: • An access permit is required to enter the dog park. A permit may be purchased at the state park visitor center. • Dog park hours are from dawn to dusk. • Tags, permits and access cards are not transferrable to different animals. • Individuals and dogs without access permits should not be admitted to the dog park. • All vaccinations as listed in the access permit application must be current. Dogs must display a current rabies vaccination tag, a dog park tag and identification (name tag or microchip.) • Dog handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Bags and receptacles are provided. • Dog owners and handlers are strictly liable for any damage or injury caused by their dog(s). • Children must be at least six (6) years of age to enter the fenced play areas. Children under sixteen (16) must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult while in the fenced play areas. • All access permit holders must be eighteen (18) years of age and older. • Rawhide and bones are not permitted in the dog park.
