Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. We own 4.8 acers of open water front land with a path (small trail) that leds to the water. Great breeze, sun light and private access to the water.

Hose to refill water dish to the right of screened porch. Fully 4’ fenced—combo of chicken wire (buried to protect paws) and concrete blocks stopped our little escapee (RIP 😇).

Our backyard is about 1/4 acre fenced in with a gate that you can drive through in the event that you don’t want to leash up your dog to walk them into the backyard. We have a total of 3.5 acres with a path through the woods if you want a mini nature walk. The barn is accessible within the fenced area and we have a covered porch off the back of the house. There’s plenty of shade under the mature trees and chairs can be set out by request. The yard is treated 2x per year with non toxic, human and dog safe diatomaceous earth to deter fleas and ticks. Resident dog waste cleaned up regularly. Resident dogs up to date on all vaccinations. Ask me about pet sitting services!

There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. We live in a suburb with close neighbors whom often enjoy their outdoor space in good weather. Penny’s Place is exactly what you want to make of it! Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation. Please try to give us notice, even if you are within the 2 hour window, so we can cancel your block. *if bad weather is highly anticipated in the area, please understand that we may not always approve a full refund if you cancel last minute HOURS: we close nightly at 10pm and reopen the following morning at 6 am.

Plenty of wild life, plants, and swimming in either the kiddie pool or the river run off in the back! We have goats at the moment in their own pin. Water-hose available and water bowl! Also will have tennis balls, and plenty of sticks to throw!

Lots of lawn and woods for pups to run! I have a friendly sheepadoodle too if your pup wants a playmate. A large pond is also accessible for dog paddlers. This is in Kingsmill a gated community but just give the guard your name and Malone at 17 Whittakers and I will have you on my guest list. If you want directions from either gate to my house in addition to your gps the guard will do that too.

My back yard is fully fenced and gets mowed every 2 weeks. It is accessible via the gate at the side of the house. It is mostly even grass. After a good rain the yard is full of fun puddles and can be muddy. So much fun for the pups! There are a couple of chairs in the yard and plenty of street parking.

We have a newly built swimming pool with a splash pad and a covered patio, which offers plenty of shade. Our covered patio has two ceiling fans, a gas fireplace, comfy patio furniture for five, an outlet for charging phones or laptops, WiFi available, and misting fan available upon request. We also have treats available on the patio for your doggo.
