"From the start, this group was absolutely fantastic, the fosters home was so full of love and Bambi now is so happy with her big boyfriend Buddha"

"Even though I cannot foster or adopt currently due to my own dog-aggressive dog, I feel like I can still make a difference through Charley’s k9 rescue. I can donate and share and the dogs that pull my heart strings the most, I can almost guarantee Charley’s will feel the same and rescue those sweet dogs. , I love them so much. It’s amazing to be able to financially help and know their team is doing the hard work on the ground, because some of us can’t- because we saved only dog, dogs. They deserve to be saved too! Thank you to those angels. You are truly Charley’s angels"

"In June 2021, we got our first rescue pit thanks to Charley’s K9! Our sweet Hossy had lived a very sad and almost abandoned life other than the times he was used as a stud dog. He lived with a broken leg for almost 3 years. Charley’s swooped in and saved the day, had him fully vetted and neutered. We decided to foster Hossy which failed quickly! He has brought so much joy to our lives and home and it’s all thanks to Charley’s rescue! Charley’s has given so many sweet pitties a 2nd chance at life when they otherwise would have been euthanized. We truly love and support our rescue!"

"This rescue is so amazing! We discovered them when we were looking to adopt a pit bull to add to our family. They saved our sweet puppy from a horrible fate and the brink of death when they took in him and his sister. He's a happy, healthy, sweet dog now. We even adopted another dog from them a few months later! The amazing things they do for dogs in this area and further are too many to list. We're are so grateful for Charley's!"

"We adopted our fur baby King from Charley's K9 Rescue in 2021 and are forever grateful for their commitment to training and learning each dog's personality before adopting them out, to ensure optimal success for their dogs in their new homes. Additionally, they focus on the most lovable yet misunderstood breed- the pitties- and are passionate about changing the futures of these dogs for the better, and consequently positively changing the lives of their adopters, as in our case. We have interacted with multiple rescues and shelters over the years, and Charley's is truly responsible, ethical, passionate, and committed to the cause. Especially in a state notorious for backyard breeding, dog fighting, dumping strays, and just generally poor treatment of pitbulls, I can't think of a better rescue to be recognized as #1 in their state for the work they do to combat this epidemic currently facing shelters, rescues, and animal advocates in general. Thank you Charley's for all that you do, and especially for changing our lives through the adoption of our pittie King!"

"In a time where pit bulls are a group of dogs with the most euthanasia rates, this small rescue is making an impact across NC. They help so many dogs, in need, medical trauma and pregnant Mamas. It is all foster based to give the best chance at a home by learning what it’s like to be in a safe environment. They are very deserving of winning."

We loved working with Nicole after transporting for her a few previous times! She really loves what she does and cares for all the big breeds that she sees through!"

Thousand Oaks, California has been a safe haven for Sniffspot host, Jen, since childhood. Having grown up in busy Santa Barbara, Jen, an introvert from an early age, would seek out solitude and serenity away from tourists attractions and droves of people visiting from elsewhere. “My grandparents own 60 acres about a 30 minute drive from here, and I grew up spending every summer and every holiday visiting them on the ranch,” Jen explained. “In Santa Barbara, we wouldn't go to the beach on the weekend because that's where everybody was, so you'd find places off the beaten path where the tourists weren't. For me, the ranch was just my happy place.”
