Hi, I’m Monet, and this is Happy Tails Farm! We’re all about enjoying life with animals, especially dogs (and chickens :)! The farm is on 15 scenic acres, located just outside of Eugene. We're easily accessed via Fox Hollow, Chambers, or Bailey Hill. Our property has a 3 acre Fully Fenced & mowed private dog park with a view of Spencers Butte! There's some fun stuff out there including giant tractor tires, a straw bale structure (Pumpkin Parkour!), jumps and an agility tunnel. We're always looking for new ideas and love requests! We also have 7+ acres of Partially Fenced nature area with trails, including forest and fields. We recommend keeping your dog on leash while exploring the trails, as the property is not 100% fenced and there can be deer roaming as well! This area is huge and is a very exciting work in progress.

The outdoor space is available during daylight hours. Indoor space is available as an add-on and recommended for evening visits or during inclement weather. First-time guest? Use discount code FarmPlay for a $5 discount. Are you fostering or training a dog? Use code FosterSF&G for a $5 discount. This is a 5-acre farm, with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is enclosed on three sides, keeping the wind and weather out during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. YOU MUST MESSAGE me before the visit to ask for us so we can make that ready for you if it is available. That space is in an area marked private property. Access is granted when the indoor space is reserved as an add on. We are excited to have you come and share this special place with us.

There are a couple of spots along the fence line that have openings at the bottom or gaps. Also, damage from the ice storm caused some damage to the property line fencing. See photos. FRONT PASTURE IS CLOSED. Unfortunately, it is not handicapped accessible. Gopher, mole, and dog holes are to be expected. Mud during the rainy season. Sheep keep pastures trimmed and fertilized.

The area was nice and exactly how it was described. The field was a little muddy but that is to be expected in the spring, just make sure to wear good shoes. My dog was definitely exhausted after running around!

Great space! Our dogs loved it. Muddy in some spots and some giant puddles but it's been raining a ton recently and our dogs loved laying in them so we didn't mind. Grass was getting tall and we lost a ball but we brought extras in case that happened. Horses in the next field over but our dogs didn't pay attention to them at all. Us and our dogs enjoyed this spot a ton, and we will be back!

We’ve seen horses a few times in a pasture over and today they were curious. It was fun to let my dog sniff the horses from a few feet but both parties (horses and dog) were uninterested in each other. Just in case my dog got too excited, we went to the other side of the field, and it’s huge so there was lots of room to play and view the horses from afar!

As my first Sniffspot, this was a great spot! Diane came out to help me find the area, and it also helped that there were signs. My dog loved the puddles and tall grass patches. The back area has a few thorny bushes and it’s branches we’re on the ground, but it is avoidable. Would love to come again.

Host meet me so they could show me where the back pasture is and was very nice! Luna had a blast, the grass was a little overgrown so she could hide from me in it which she found fun. We tried the agility equipment but she was more interested in exploring so we did!

We had a fantastic time visiting this Sniffspot! The hosts are friendly and finding the pasture was easy. There was plenty of space to explore with my energetic dog who loves to run. This place was great! My dog had lots of room to just run around and sniff/play. I thought the fencing was really good there is only one area towards the back of the field that wasn’t fenced but it was barricaded by tree branches and grass so I felt comfortable enough that my dog wouldn’t go through it. I also really appreciated the “pathways” cut in the grass around the perimeter as the grass was quite tall
