35I always feel badly about not leaving a 5 star review, but unfortunately this Sniffspot just wasn't what we expected. From what the description says we thought there would be several trails off the main path but we couldn't find any. Maybe there were, and they were just too grown over; I know things have been growing like mad this year. But we continued to look for them & couldn't find any. We did go off the main path once because we thought we had found a trail, but it had so many trees on the ground that we had to get over, and branches we had to crawl under, that it made it hard to get far. We did this for about 50 ft. then couldn't continue because it was too grown over, so the trail was gone. Our dog tried to wander further than us, because she's really good at jumping over logs and branches, but she still didn't get far before she couldn't go any more... The other MAJOR issue we had was that when our pup tried to roam off the main path into the bushes and brambles (which believe me, she EASILY wanders through all the time), she ended up TRAPPED in the web of them and couldn't get out... When we tried to get in there to help her, we couldn't get to her. She finally found a way out, but ended up with scratches and scrapes, some to the point of bleeding. 😕😞 So I do feel I need to warn about that. It is like a spider's web of brambles. I know it's pointed out in the description that there are brambles, but I feel like it's worse than we normally see, and expected from the description. Maybe it's just that I read it wrong, but for those with pups that like to wander off the path into the bushes & brambles, be careful with letting your pups go off the path here... In short, if you're looking for a nice big path to walk along, like in a park, this Sniffspot is great. But if you're looking for somewhere that has forest trails to explore off the main path, like I interpreted from the description, this isn't it... 😕 I'm leaving three stars because the path, even though it's short, is in a beautiful forest. It has plants and trees along it, with little signs describing them, that we enjoyed reading. But I do feel the description is a little misleading. We were expecting much more to explore... 😕
55Beautiful, safe, and quiet spot! The host is very responsive and provides water and poop bags (and a bin to dispose of used ones). Definitely will rebook!
55Amazing hike at a amazing spot. We have some very very happy doggos. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a nice peaceful hike and some great adventures.
55This was the best Sniffspot so far we have discovered. Absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to come back 🤩
55Beautiful woodsy main path with many offshoots. Well maintained. Clean and quiet!!
55Another cool place to take your dog out for a walk. Quiet and serene and beautiful scenery. We will be back!
55Such a lovely and well cared for place. Great views and plenty of good sniffs for the dogs. It’s so nice not to have to worry about unpleasant encounters. The peace in this place is magnificent. We will definitely be back.
55We had the best time. The main trail is wide and clear and the dogs enjoyed romping on all the smaller side trails. One hour was just right with a half an hour each way taking our time. I am excited to go back.
55What a lovely spot! The manicured trail was beautiful! It was very quiet and we felt very safe. We also loved the educational posters about the native plants/trees. I booked 2 hours thinking we’d get lost on the game trails but they had a bit too many brambles for exploration. So we were done in just over an hour. Still very much worth the drive and tranquility! I’ll definitely be back with my big camera for some fun dog portraits!
55Beautiful, open trail

The Stilly Sniff Spot is owned by our family forestry business, Pacific Forest Lands. PFL was started in 1995 and has logged small lumber parcels around WA, most recently this parcel. Today we are happy to be sharing our family owned parcel as a private pup park. Please explore off leash and off trail at your own discretion as we happily share this area with native wildlife.

Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, check out Sniffpass. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you have older dog/s and would like to drive below the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or Search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Saturdays are usually blocked if there's Hipcamp bookings. But I would unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest..'
