45Such a fantastic spot with lots of wooded areas for dogs to explore and run around. Very secure with the fence all around. Highly recommend!
55They loved exploring the wooded area, and a great spot for them to run around together! Exactly as advertised and we will be back.
55This spot was wonderful! It was a large enough space that our pup felt really free and out in the wild! It also wasn’t too big so we felt comfortable knowing where she was! It was great to do some off leash training & exploring 😊
55Our pups loved Hound Hill. It was the perfect mix of private, peaceful, and adventure. The parking spot is right at the gate, so even though the spot feels like it is in the middle of the woods, the car is easily accessible. We will definitely be back!
55Had a blast as always here!
55Awesome Sniffspot! Very quiet and secluded area. Plenty of sensory experiences for pups to sniff and check out!
55Love this spot! Perfect place to get all the sniffs and zoomies out. Lots of space and terrain to explore.
55Instructions were clear and precise. Description of the place was as advertised. I appreciated the owner contacting me to let me know about the parking situation right before the scheduled time. My Belgian malinois dog did thought about jumping over the fence but he knew better. Luckily, we did not see any distractions for him to do that. I recommend dog parents to give this place a try.
55When I first arrived at this spot I thought it was a little steep, although my two dogs (70 & 30 lbs) and myself had no problem walking and exploring the area. I have typically visited flat grassy Sniffspots - to my surprise the dogs loved the woodsy nature.
55Everything was good! Our boys had fun exploring!

Description

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Water is available via the hose located on the fence near the trash can. The white plastic container can be filled as needed. Please dump the water when you are finished and place the bowl upside down to keep it from collecting rainwater. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
