DOG PARK RULES • All fenced-dog-runs and off-leash-areas are for dogs, their owners/handlers and those accompanying them. No animals other than dogs are allowed in the area. • Children under eight (8) years are not permitted inside fenced-dog-runs or off-leash-areas. Children age 9-15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Dog Handler must be 16 years of age or older. • Owners and dog handlers are limited to a maximum of three (3) dogs. Professional dog trainers and groomers shall not use the fenced-dog-runs or off-leash-areas to conduct their business. • Puppies under the age of four (4) months will not be allowed to use fenced-dog-runs or the off-leash-areas. All dogs over the age of nine (9) months must be neutered or spayed. Dogs that are ill or known to carry untreated parasites will not be permitted with in the fenced-dogruns or the off-leash-areas. • Dogs must wear a proper fitting collar or harness displaying their identification tag, Baltimore City “off-leash” registration tag, and rabies tag while in the fenced-dog-run or offleash-area. Pinch collars, spike collars or slip collars that could cause injury to another dog during play are not permitted. Owners/Handlers must have possession of a dog leash at all times. • Dogs must be under the control of their owners/handlers and in view of their owners/handlers at all times. Leaving dogs unattended is prohibited. • Owners/Handlers must clean up after their dogs with plastic bags and dispose of dog waste in covered trash cans. • Food and drinks in glass containers are not permitted in the Fenced Dog Run or Off-leash area. Treats for dog training are not permitted. • All dogs must be on a leash, eight (8’) feet or less when entering or leaving the fenced-dogrun or off-leash-area. Any dog found “off-leash” outside of an established fenced-dog-run or off-leash-area will be subject to Baltimore City Leash Laws and associated fines. • Dogs must be leashed and removed from any fenced-dog-run or off-leash-area at the first sign of aggression. Dogs with a record of aggressive behavior on file with the Baltimore City “Dangerous Dog Hearing Board” will not be allowed to register for use of fenced-dog-runs or off-leash-areas. • Owners/Handlers are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs. Owners/Handlers use the fenced-dog-runs or off-leash-areas at their own risk. • Any bites to humans must be reported by the injured person to the Department of Health and Animal Control (311) within 24 hours in accordance with communicable disease laws. • In case of a special event or emergency, the Director shall post a notice of a planned closing at each entrance, stating the reasons for closure.

My backyard has been a place of joy for me for the decade that I've lived here, and I hope it will be for you and your dog as well! While it may not be as fancy as some pricier homes with large yards and pools and other bells and whistles, it is well kept and loved by me and my family, and has been a great place to play and enjoy for my own late dog, and all the dogs that I have cared for over the years. There is plenty of room for 2 or 3 dogs to run and to play together, provided, of course, that the dogs are not aggressive and have received at least the basic vaccines. However- If you do happen to own a dog that doesn't get along so well with others, or has not had the normal required vaccinations, we certainly won't turn you away - in fact, that is one of the perks of a private dog area! We would just ask you to book a private time slot. Dogs with socialization or aggression problems need fun and exercise, too, and a private, safe, fenced area is an excellent alternative to a crowded public dog park :) And although I take pride in my home and land, i am not so hung up on appearances that some shuffled or torn grass will upset me, so by all means let the dogs wrestle and play! To the back right of the house is our old garden that is now just a bare bed of soft dirt- perfect for digging! I've supplied the amenities that I think you would need - Wipes to clean up dirty paws, a hose for cleaning dirty pooches, plenty of sturdy dog toys, poop bags and trash cans, and a sitting area for people. I'm hoping to soon ad and awning or umbrella for shade (although, don't worry, you'll never be stuck in full sun, the side of the house is nearly always shady and cool) I hope that you and your pooch(es) will enjoy our yard and play area as much as we have over the years! Dogs (animals in general, really) truly are my passion and have been my life's work for virtually my entire adult life. I am a certified veterinary technician, so I take your pets well being and safety very seriously. I have also been pet sitting, mostly in my own home, for years, and even have quite a few dog supplies for sale if anyone is interested. And while I cannot confirm I will be there EVERY time, if I am there and some sort of issue or emergency happens, I am well prepared to deal with it. I am also fastidious about cleanliness, so all toys, bowls, beds, etc will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each visit. I think - I hope! - that this can be a great opportunity for a Baltimore dog and owner that perhaps live in an apartment to be able to run and play in a safe, quiet environment that is much closer to home than driving to the county or to a busy, dirty, perhaps a bit dangerous larger dog park. Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard. The Blue House Play Park

Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have one doggo but won't be outside during your booked time. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.
