Beautiful spot! My dog had the best time & it was very easy to navigate. We did get a little turned around on the way back home but all the green dots helped bring us back! It’s about 25ish minutes to the river, so really happy we booked 2 hours, as it gave us enough time to relax and let our dog play in the water before heading back out.

Very easy to find. Well marked trails. Very quiet and peaceful. It was raining for our visit which made for a bug free adventure. We encountered deer so a good recall if you plan on having your dog off leash is a must. Swimming spots were refreshing for the dogs. It is rugged so hard sole footwear is needed. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Sniffspot with tons of space for dogs to run, my dog loved the trails and the water she was so happy, my 18 month old son even loved walking and picking up rocks and sticks, the terrain is a bit rough in spots but nothing my 18 month old couldn’t handle! What a wonderful slice of heaven! The property offered a little bit of everything from a nice field/yard with green grass to a nature walk down to some water. My pup Darla played and played in the water. She is now home knocked out on my couch. She was living her best “off leash” life today thanks to this sniff spot. It was actually our very 1st time renting a sniff spot and now I can’t imagine my life without it. If your pup loves to explore, hike and swim as much as mine does, this is your place.

Beautiful spot & incredibly well marked trails. Lovely seating by river to take a break. We can’t easily have our reactive pup on regular trails due to narrowness and off leash dogs so it was *amazing* to be able to let her explore & use all her dog senses safely in a private trail system. It was great to experience the scents and sounds of the trails during a different time of day-this time early evening. My dogs seemed to appreciate it as well. I love seeing them thunder along the trails that are now familiar to them and then see them stop to listen to critters they don't usually hear. I can't wait to see/hear what else fall brings to the property. Oh and Susan - we did a rain dance for the stream. Hope you don't mind. :)

Beautiful day to explore our favorite Sniffspot! I'm so grateful for having this space to let my two dogs be themselves. My youngest wants to run and run and run through the woods. He's so happy to be able to leap over trees and explore at his leisure. The little bugger even checks in with me and comes when called which is HUGE with all the smells out there. My old lady loves to pull up all the sticks from the bottom of the stream and chomp on them. Also loves when the smaller bodies of water or the swampy areas get stinky - she plops right down into them like it's the best thing ever. The land is rugged but beautiful. There are open fields for walking, sniffing, exploring, and working on training activities. This time of year was so perfect with the changing colors. We brought a group of 11 dogs and our dog training partner Cindy Ehlers of Pawsitive Pet for a Long Lead Training & Recall clinic. I am grateful to Susan for the back and forth support to plan the event as well as all the yummy snacks she left out for our participants to enjoy. It was so nice to access a large parcel of land and not have to worry about off leash dogs during our clinic. Participants were able to practice in a controlled and secure environment. Thank you!

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
