The field is connected to a building that is currently not in use. There is an overhang that covers a small portion of the field for sun shade and weather protection. Please do not drive across the bridge - foot traffic only! I know it’s tempting to explore the surrounding acreage on property, however off leash exploring is NOT allowed in the acreage surrounding the field! If your pup would like to swim in the brook, please reach out to me for info on how to access the water!

There is a picnic table with an umbrella to relax at while your pup/pups frolic in the field. There are trees and shady areas for your pet to get out of the sun and roll around in the grass. There are dog toys, towels and water bowls. There is a water hydrant for fresh water as needed.

Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water bowl/container- we do have a hose available for fill ups. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Overall, the spot is quiet but please read the detailed sections about people, dogs, and domestic animals that can be seen/heard from our spot prior to booking. Take Two Acres is a private, fenced two acre property that borders a working horse farm. It is a tranquil, open setting, surrounded by trees with lots of sun and shade for your fur baby's enjoyment. Many amenities are offered for you and your pups enjoyment of our space including toys, water hose and bowls, poo bags, and a large fire pit. We have two dogs of our own and do our best to pick up after them. Please understand it is a large property and they go out alone at night. We also have alot of deer traffic and other furry critters that we share our "piece of earth" with. Again, we do our best, but there are no guarantees you will not come across them (critters) or a land mine or two visiting out piece of earth.
