Such a great experience! Lauren was a great host. The area is very large and securely fenced so my dog Blue was able to run free. He really enjoyed stomping around in the pond and playing with Lauren’s very sweet and kid/dog-friendly pup. Blue can be a very anxious pup, so it was so great to see him let loose and have fun. I had my elementary-aged kids with me and Lauren was extremely kind to them as well, even let them play with her week-old baby goat. When my kids left, they asked to help write the review, so here are their comments - “I’ve never seen Blue so happy,” “That lady was so so so so nice,” “This is a perfect place for dogs,” “Can we take the other dog home with us too,” “it’s super peaceful,” “we should come back next weekend.” 🤣 This was a great fit for our dog and we’ll definitely be back!

Our first Sniffspot and the bar is set really high!! It's been a while since the boys could just run full speed. They loved the pond and all the new smells. The rinse off station was such a good touch so that the boys can be cleaned off. Lauren was amazing. So kind, sweet, and a wonderful host!!

This spot is incredible! Upon arrival, we went through the first gate and the boys loved looking at the horses and livestock as we drove to the second gate, where Lauren greeted us. She gave me the lay of the land and then I let the boys loose to have fun. They loved running and exploring the whole five acres that Lauren has made available. They especially loved running through the pond. Communication with Lauren was exceptional and she was very accommodating. She also has some great plans on adding more amenities. I would recommend wearing boots. I wore tennis shoes and ended up with itchy ankles...small price to pay for watching the boys having a great time!

This is THE sniffspot if you live in south Austin. Lauren is a great host and the property is amazing. It is entirely fenced with a pond that my dog really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Best sniffspot! I believe we’ve been to every 1 acre plus sniffspot in Austin, Bastrop, and Smithville and this one is our absolute favorite! Lauren is an amazingly thoughtful and kind host, and her place is amazing. My dog had so much room to RUN and explore and sniff. She left a huge bucket of water and even a hose to cool him down periodically with so he could enjoy it even in the heat. The pasture has a nice loop in it and a great swing to sit on by the pond. We will definitely be back regularly.

We really enjoyed our visit and the host was wonderful. My German Shepherd chased balls, swam in the pond, and was introduced to goats. There was a hose to wash off the pond water. My older dog just walked around smelling all the new smells

Lauren provided clear instructions for entering the property and was so nice to chat with when we arrived! My dogs had a blast checking out the goats, splashing in the pond, and running in the wide open space. Will definitely come back!

Humans and fur baby had an amazing time at Alyssa’s sniffspot! Super unique and so much room to roam. There were thoughtful touches for after all the play (snoot balm, dog deodorant spray, poop bags, water). We really appreciated it! We will definitely be back. Thanks Alyssa!

Truly a perfect wonderful spot to take my dogs. It can be hard to have a reactive dog in Austin sometimes and I think I just found the solution to giving my pups the play time they deserve. The space is beautiful, well kept, and extremely serene. I had forgotten doggie bags and there was a bunch of them available along with water and toys. I can’t wait to come back and I know my dogs feel the same.

LOVE LOVE LOVED this spot!!! Hosts are super polite and set up an awesome doggy station. The different types of foliage and lengths of grass are exactly what we have been looking for with regular spots. My dogs love to forage and roll around in tall grass. I even lost my little guy a couple of times 😂😂 Fencing is not very secure, which hosts are very open about. I used it as an opportunity to work on recall training and it went very well!! Property as a whole is super cool and fun to explore for people and pets, we played giant connect 4. My dogs were a lot more excitable and curious than other places we've been. 10/10

This place is great! Our dog is a runner and escape artist so we had to be cautious about the driveway but it was fine! The river was a fun feature with turtles and birds for him to swim after. There are kayakers passing so if your dog is human reactive keep that in mind. Lots of room to run and not far from central Austin. Will definitely be returning.

Loved our visit to Alyssa’s! The lawn was mowed and open enough for all the zoomies. The yard had such a cool collection of chairs & things for you and your dog to enjoy. There was also fresh water, poop bags, and some toys to use as well. We will definitely be back!!

This spot has quickly become my favorite spot to take my boys. They absolutely love walking along the water and the trimmed areas are perfect for fetch or playing soccer. I usually only book for an hour at a time, but I always book two here and we can't get enough! Hosts are ABSOLUTELY lovely :)
