Hike Piestawa Peak and then swim and cool off in our fully fenced yard, with block walls, and our dog friendly swimming pool with Baja deck for standing, and steps on both ends for easy access/exit. Turf area for doing ‘business’ and we have floating and non-floating dog toys for play time. If we happen to be home, all blinds are pulled closed for privacy. Please note: There are 2 security cameras in back for your safety.

Large and fully fenced area that comfortably accommodates our greyhound’s needs, as well as our chihuahua’s needs. There is a large grassy area and also a tennis court area that works great for smoothing out dog’s nails. There are areas covered in small rocks, too. Since there are various terrains and it does get hot in the desert, we have dog boots (that are very breathable) and available to borrow, as well as dog visors. We have small, medium, and large boots to protect the paws. Also, personal sunscreen packets are provided for our guest owners. There are many seating arrangements, tables available, sun umbrellas, a water feature, and many areas with natural shade provided. There is one area in particular that makes one think that they are not in the desert, but rather in another part of Arizona that provides shade from pine trees. There are three enclosures that are visible and house two pygmy goats (joey and chandler) and a chicken coop with three chickens. You might see a rabbit or squirrel on occasion. Sometimes, the tortoise will emerge from his enclosure to greet you. There are fruit trees on the premises if you’d like to take a lemon when in season. There is also a hose to use if needed. (You will want to run the water for a bit since the hose gets very heated in the summer months). Parking is conveniently located near the gated entry. There will also be bags available if your dog relieves itself. We are sure our property will provide a peaceful retreat to enjoy with your canine friend.

Little slice of paradise for the pups! Hopefully this will be a nice relaxed area for your pup to come and play and not have to be stressed. They will have lots of smells to explore in the backyard since I have two dogs of my own. I will hopefully have all the amenities I want set up before opening! Toys, splash pad, herding ball, and more! If you want to use the splash pad, feel free to turn on the hose, I just ask that it be turned off before you leave! Thanks! I am also having Poodini come every Friday morning to clean and sanitize the yard(that’s why there are time blocks). But I really love the idea of getting the turf sanitized weekly! We have a half-acre of land in which your dog can roam. There are many trees they can walk and sniff under to keep shady. There's a nice long stretch of open yard so you can throw a ball. Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again. The Willo Pool Paw-ty Pad is located in a quiet historic neighborhood and has a fully fenced yard with a pool, grassy area for fetch, and plenty of places to sniff. Our pool has a large step for pups who just want to dip their paws in to cool off. There are shaded lounge chairs, pool floaties and string lights (even the hoomans will enjoy themselves!).
