Our shih tzu and great pyr mix enjoyed their first sniffspot! Great space for small and large breeds. The neighbourhood was quiet with no distractions (traffic, car sounds, city noise and other dogs).
Our pyr rarely goes off leash, so we made the most out of the experience. Got to train and play freely. There are also shaded areas for the dogs to cool down and take water breaks. We’ll definitely come back as it’s the closest sniff spot in our area.
You know they had a great time when they’re sleeping like babies soon as we got home.

55A lovely well-maintained space with green freshly mowed grass and pretty shrubs/trees for privacy. Easy parking on a quiet street. Great for those of us with a small (or no) yard to play with our pup. My 4-month old border collie mix had a blast sniffing, playing frisbee and getting used to a long lead. A beautiful grey cat kept an eye on us at the window from inside! We look forward to visiting this spot again.Nadia H.

55Space is exactly as described. It was a perfect spot for my small dog (@hellolucydog on Insta) and her little doggy friend Soady to run and play. There was even seating for the four humans which was really nice. The space is very secure. Katrina M.

55Backyard was just the right size for us to get some running and training in without having to worry about other dogs and new distractions. It's nicely enclosed with some shady areas on the hot day. Sheila said a quick hello and offered water and was a wonderful host. Will be using the yard again on an ongoing basis as long as she will have us. Aga W.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
