Our dogs had a great time! It was clean, fully fenced and lots of room to sniff and run. There was some noise from the traffic on the road nearby but it wasn’t too loud at all! Would definitely come back!

This is a great, large, safe space to let your dogs run! After an hour and a half running with her bestie, Dottie has been sleeping the last 6 hours! Just make sure you wear rain boots in the spring :)

Great spot, as always, and so beautiful in the winter. If your dog has poor recall and tends to run away just know that the snow blocks the gate from closing/opening fully. No problem for us, but perhaps important to others :)

Excellent large fenced-in area to bring my reactive dog to play. It was also clean and there's a garbage at the gate to easily dispose of your dog waste before leaving.

We have an older german shepherd, who is not great with other dogs. It’s been hard finding a safe space to let her run around and enjoy herself since moving to Ottawa. This was the perfect spot for us, and we’ll be back with her and our puppy in the future!

My dog is petrified of other dogs as he’s an abused rescue. This place is perfect for him! Today was our first visit and he was nervous smelling all the other animals but over time he will learn that it’s a safe space just for him. Love this idea and love that there is a place to take him where he can run free!

I had an absolutely amazing time and so did my dog. Lots of space to run, play fetch and do some training. The host was also amazing and very helpful. My dog is absolutely exhausted which was the goal so thank you so much! Definitely highly recommend

We absolutely loved our visit and will be back!! The property was very clean and had a bowl of fresh water. We walked the whole perimeter and didn't see a spot where my dog (german shep) could escape. There was a towel and garbage by the gate. The field is pretty damp and muddy is some places. Bring extra water and towel as your dog will be dirty.

Great spot to let the dogs run and play without worry. A lot of people had comments about the style of fence and that it was broken. We had no issues with any of the fence being broken but it is a farm style wire fence (pictures can be seen if you click through the images on the site) so if you're not comfortable with that type of fence I would check out the pictures before booking. The only thing that would be great is if there was a parking lot as right now you have to park along the road but we already knew that before booking so it was fine. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely book again. Shouldn't have to state the obvious but we booked in April. There are puddles. There is mud. IT IS SPRING. So if you go in the spring be prepared for a dirty happy dog after your visit.

Southridge Dog Spot hosted by Clayton M. was fantastic! We were first-timers, so had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Spot was easy to locate and seems to be managed really well. The area was big enough to allow the pups to run around but not big enough that I couldn't keep my eye on them. I was also re-assured that the fence was, indeed, secure. Therefore, I could enjoy my visit with no stress. Will be back for sure!

Great spot to have a walk around with my girls! Was introduced to it through the rescue I'm fostering/adopting from and even the rain couldn't stop us! The road parking is fine and fencing was no issue for us!

I visited the spot on May 2nd with my 2 aussies, and we had a blast. The spot was clean and everything was in perfect condition, as always. Tip: remember to wear rain boots - this is is a big open field, and we are in the middle of spring!

Great private park, lots of room for dogs to run and explore. Good fencing no worries about dog sneaking off. And very well kept and clean and good parking away from the road. Will definitely be back again!!!!
