Tick protection is strongly recommended. The trail is marked with orange ribbon. Please keep dog leashed until you get off private road.

Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

Feel free to dry your dog off after splashing in the pool and wipe their feet before they hop back in your car. Simply leave the used towel on the bench and we will pick up. Waste pick up is simple and easy. You will find poop bags in our mailbox located just inside the entry gate. Please pick up and dispose of waste in the garbage pail found near the mailbox. If popular, we can open for winter hikes too. A canopy and bench in a fenced in area for play and relaxing, then leash up for a great walk thru the shaded and cool, winding trails in our forest. Possibly See deer, wild turkey, rabbit and squirrel, so that's why we ask for leashes on Flat, level walking meandering paths thru our wooded area. Boots or sneakers please, no open toe shoes ( for your own safety). And No smoking on property, too much of a fire Hazzard. Please clean up after pet, we supply a trash can for disposal, located at the gate of the fenced area.

Welcome to our hobby farm! Dog Day Farms boasts 5 acres of maintained walking trails and a fully-fenced 1000sq ft play area, complete with splash pool, activity equipment and a shaded seating area. The trails are also bursting with Maine flora and wildlife, making for a fun nature walk. My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

Brand new fencing! Over 4000 sq ft of mostly level running and playing area! The large rectangular space is great for fetch and playing chase. Majority of the fence goes all the way to the ground aside from one gate with a few inches of clearance (see photo with size 7 women’s Croc for scale 🤣). Our dogs are thrilled to have this space and knowing there is nothing like this nearby we’re happy to share with other dogs and dog lovers. Poop bags, trash can, shady seating for humans, and a dedicated parking space are available for sniffspot guests. If possible before your booking we will provide fresh water for your dog but we are not always available to do so. *Security cameras are in use* 1. Please do not explore other areas of the property. The fenced in area for dogs and the seating on the front porch for humans are the only approved spaces for Sniffspot guests. 2. Please only park in the designated parking spot. 3. Walk your dog on a leash to the fenced in area. Do not let them off leash from the car. 4. Please firmly latch ALL GATES before leaving.

Welcome to Wilde Kind Farm! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our fenced dog play yard! We may be closing the meadow on various days to do spring clean up and build some fun new things for the dogs and you! We have a couple areas for your to explore. A smaller area with shelter and taller fencing that is lit up at night. Or you can go through the gate to our "wilder" area to the left of the barn. Please note the entire property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot. To access the fenced acreage walk to the left of the Barn and look for the "Guest Entrance" sign on the gate.

Our farm is open fields, lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim, and in the summer grab some vegetables at the farm stand. There are ungroomed walking trails that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. There are a couple other dogs on site but they’re far away at the front farm house, very old and won’t bother you. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. I have a 10 acre field (with some pretty nice views) + 60 acres of woods that I'd love to share. Right now the woods are in a pretty natural state (the trails aren't groomed & are in the process of being maintained) so depends on your adventure-ability whether you want to venture that way. There is a brook about 0.7 miles from the parking spot though! My dogs love it. But the field is great for getting a full sprint going or ball toss, etc. My dogs are visible from some areas of the field. If you would prefer not to see other dogs, please plan on walking the back woods with your dog(s). The field is fine to drive on - you'd pull in and drive along the left edge to the back where there is a gap in the rock walk and pick up the trails from there. Please do not park in the driveway - instead, pull off on the side of the road (please make sure you are fully off the road) on the grass or turn into the field a bit and park along the white fence

We live on nine acres of property in the woods of Lebanon, ME. We have a long dirt driveway leading up to our barn and house, with about 2 acres of yard surrounding the house for your pup to sniff and play. There are small streams along the sides of the property, lots of leaves and trees to sniff through, and even horses to see!
