55Love that there is a place I can take my reactive dog and just hang out and play! Very peaceful little spot 💗
55Happy and tired dogs
55Another fun playtime. Thank you!
55This was a lovely and welcoming spot for my new rescue Yams to kick up her heels a little bit. She’s timid and shy and so other off leash public dog parks are too overwhelming. Thank goodness that there’s Sniffspot and this is nestled in the woods with all kinds of amenities, surrounded by beautiful cedars. Fully fenced and safe, we had a great time.
55Safe and spacious. Grass was a treat for my az dogs. Will return.
55This was a lovely spot in the shade to relax and let the dog run. He especially loved running up the ramp and hanging out in the loft. Very cool space!
55We look forward to attending weekly as our pups enjoy it so much. And we humans love it also with its peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
55My dog, my kids, and I had a truly magical time here, thank you for the lovely sniffspot.
55Beautiful little hidden gem in the woods! Dogs enjoyed the running around and the highlight was the crows talking to each other! Thanks for a safe space, we’ll be back!
55My dogs totally enjoyed their romp! Lots of opportunities to smell, investigate, fetch, climb, run, and have fun. Thank you for having us!

Greetings. My home is multigenerational. Mom, dad, me and my son. So there's always something going on. However we respect peace and tranquility and we hope you experience some of it while you visit. Be welcome here.

Pig Beach (near Port Ludlow)

A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.
