This is a pasture and we do turn out sheep and horses there every so often (not when you're there). You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the upper pond, woods and off leash park. This beautiful 2-acre spot is fully fenced - 4-5' high, gates 4' high. There are potentially 2 areas that you can use right next to each other (fenced in between). Please note however, that the first Pasture that you come to does have an area where dogs can potentially get through and back to the gravel road. It is right inside the first gate on your right in the forest area there. The great thing is we are not near any sort of busy road. One thing to note is that my neighbor on the adjoining property has friendly, smaller dogs, and they do bark from time to time. You really can't see them all that much as there is brush, sticker bushes, and trees in between our properties. That said, you may hear them from time to time. What I find that works in quieting them up is to just walk over and talk to them. We welcome dogs that have different anxieties as well as being dog reactive and people reactive. There have been many people here with their dogs who have done just fine. There is a spigot with fresh clean well water, next to the clawfoot tub inside second pasture. We also have a bowl there for your use. We have wood for you to purchase, should you desire a fire while there. There are plenty of chairs and benches for folks to sit on. This property is a walk under the canopy and in the sun. There are deer trails to go on and you will always find the road. Bring your boots during rainy season. Preferred parking is at the lower entrance (Red gate). The trail is 3/4 mile out and back with many off trail options. Learn about native plants from interpretive signs provided using resources from the Stillaguamish Tribe.

We have just under a half-acre fenced back yard. We have a large 2 level deck that you can relax on while watching your dogs run and play. We now how have an awesome covered deck, that is perfect for rainy weather! We have lots of balls in the back yard that you are welcome to kick or throw for your dog to chase. We have a water bowl out with fresh water in it. There are puppy poop bags along with dog treats and hand sanitizer on the table. Many dogs love to run through our middle garden and jump off to the lower level. We are absolutely fine with that, it makes for an awesome obstacle course.

High Rock meadow is a 2+ acre securely-fenced natural meadow, surrounded by forest. Please note that this is NOT a manicured lawn space; it is a sloping meadow with uneven footing and heavy ground cover. You can explore a network of walking trails that wind through the perimeter forest, while your dogs romp in the meadow and zoom along the trails. There is no end to sniffing material in this 2-acre playground! Again, the terrain in this spot is uneven and sloping, with some steep areas on the trails and possible muddy areas. Sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Those with mobility issues may have difficulty moving about in this spot. Additionally, we are located in a rural neighborhood and there are times when neighbors practice shooting. This is more likely to happen on weekends, so please keep this in mind when scheduling with dogs who are distressed by loud noises. I'm currently accepting bookings up to 1 month out. Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate.
