Here are some instructions for the entrance: 1. You will see a black gate open upon your arrival on the west side where the white mail box is. 2. Pass the speed bump and you will see a parking sign, please park there. 3. You will also see an entrance and sniffspot sign next to park sign. 4. As soon as you start walking towards the back pls feel free to use the whole property 5. Trail is towards the very back of the property for which you will ne guided by the arrows. 6. Creek is located from the entrance where you park your vehicle to all the way across the property. Feel free to use it. Pls be advice on the rainy days the property can get get little muddy in the back so be prepared accordingly.

We have 1/2 an acre of fully fenced backyard and another 2 1/2 acres of unfenced (or partially fenced) property & trails to explore. Our land is surrounded by streams and many more acres of protected county land. Park at the dead-end street and then walk through our gate by the bridge and enter the fenced-in area by our “Welcome Bear” through the Pumpkin Arch. Feel free to explore the front area down by the stream on your way out!

We have just under a half-acre fenced back yard. We have a large 2 level deck that you can relax on while watching your dogs run and play. We now how have an awesome covered deck, that is perfect for rainy weather! We have lots of balls in the back yard that you are welcome to kick or throw for your dog to chase. We have a water bowl out with fresh water in it. There are puppy poop bags along with dog treats and hand sanitizer on the table. Many dogs love to run through our middle garden and jump off to the lower level. We are absolutely fine with that, it makes for an awesome obstacle course.

The place is suitable for small/medium size dogs. Mellower large dogs could have a good time as well. Absolutely no digging permitted. No excessive barking. Racoons and squirrels may be present on the property. Please keep an eye on your pup(s) at all times. Free street parking available, first come first serve, do not block driveway(s). We have a 3,200sqft fully fenced backyard. We have 1 indoor cat and one outdoor one but she’s very skittish so I doubt you’ll be able to see her. The entrance would be through the front backyard door and we will provide sings and anything you need for a pleasant stay.

A beautiful, fully fenced 2 acre pasture with stunning views of the neighboring hillside and a totally private entrance. Drinking water for dogs is provided, as is a hose that can be used to rinse dogs before and/or after playing. Balls are provided for dogs and chairs for humans! If you go right to the top left of the pasture and look East, you can get a view of Mount Pilchuck on a clear day Please respect the speed signs when you get to the dirt road! This is a pasture and we do turn out sheep and horses there every so often (not when you're there). We do our best to keep the place clean but it probably won't be perfect, so we thank you for your understanding!

** RAINY SEASON - My yard is very destroyed from the past 2 years of having a Sniffspot - I am going to be closing more often this year when it's rainy to try and mitigate the amount of dirt, mud, & mess. I have quite a big yard for this area. It is fully enclosed by a 6' wooden fence. Between the yard and the patio the total area is roughly 3200 sq feet. I have a rockery that dogs love to run up and down, juniper bushes, a large covered and uncovered patio area, a kiddie pool in the hot weather, 2 water bowls (and a hose for replenishing the water/pool if needed), lots of tennis balls and toys, and a large perimeter to sniff! There is a bench, small table, and some Adirondack chairs in the backyard (and more chairs and a larger table up on the patio) for the humans... feel free to move them around as you wish! There is plenty of space to throw balls and toys; if you have mobility issues and cannot go down into the backyard, you can stay up on the patio and have your dog bring the ball back to you. Most dogs love to run up & down the rockery! Your dog(s) will be very tired and happy by the end of the Sniff! Thanks and enjoy the time with your dog(s)!!

This beautiful 2-acre spot is fully fenced - 4-5' high, gates 4' high. There are potentially 2 areas that you can use right next to each other (fenced in between). Please note however, that the first Pasture that you come to does have an area where dogs can potentially get through and back to the gravel road. It is right inside the first gate on your right in the forest area there. The great thing is we are not near any sort of busy road. One thing to note is that my neighbor on the adjoining property has friendly, smaller dogs, and they do bark from time to time. You really can't see them all that much as there is brush, sticker bushes, and trees in between our properties. That said, you may hear them from time to time. What I find that works in quieting them up is to just walk over and talk to them. We welcome dogs that have different anxieties as well as being dog reactive and people reactive. There have been many people here with their dogs who have done just fine. There is a spigot with fresh clean well water, next to the clawfoot tub inside second pasture. We also have a bowl there for your use. We have wood for you to purchase, should you desire a fire while there. There are plenty of chairs and benches for folks to sit on. *fall/winter update* During the month of  October we host a pumpkin patch every weekend and must close the Sniffspot for everyone’s safety.  If you are a member please contact us if you aren’t available during the week to use your time. Well socialized pups are always welcome at the patch. 🎃  We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!).  Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot.  Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. We have new neighbors at the west end of the pasture.  Please be aware there may be construction during your visit, we apologize for any inconvenience 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. Our backyard is fully enclosed with a privacy fence; it's where we have a lot of fun with Annie, our German Shepherd. We have a hose for water, under the deck. We have a few chairs out there, and the deck is partially covered, so there's shade and shelter from rain. Toys can be found in the brown bin - feel free to use them! Please take care that your dog doesn't dig any holes, we appreciate it!

Fully fenced backyard in Lake Forest Park, just 1 mile northwest of Third Place Books at the Towne Centre. The yard is grass, and the covered porch under the balcony is cement. A variety of toys are available in a plastic bin on the porch labeled Sniffspot for any interested pups. Some lawn chairs are also available on the porch for any humans, and two water bowl are present for thirsty pups after some hard play :). Spigot is located on the south-facing wall between the porch and some rose bushes. An unoccupied dog house across the yard under the tallest tree is also available for pups to duck into and explore.

To the seniors, the fosters, the super swimmers, and first timers, the paddle boarders, the sharks, the littles and the BIGs….thank you!! 💕 Welcome to those who don't mind a makeshift metal accordion and netting "gate" at the top of the driveway. This sniffspot is primarily for you sniffers who want to swim and fetch in the lake…or take your human out to paddle board or kayak! This sniffspot is our second lot, next to our house lot. You will have 80’ of lake front (patio and grass), a 30’ wide swim area with easy in & out stairs and pea gravel lake bottom…plus the whole lake if you venture out! Towels, fridge, tables, seating, drinks, snacks, human life jackets, doggie life jackets (select sizes) & toys provided! Paddle boards and kayaks available for rental on the spot. *All proceeds go toward improving the sniff spot! Suggestions welcomed! First item on wish list- real gate at top of driveway. *If you have a specific day/time and you don’t see it open on the schedule, please feel free to ask, we may be able to accommodate! I open up days about a week ahead, and block time as bookings come in so our own sniffers have free time to swim and sniff:) The lake is warm! Come enjoy!!

We have almost an acre fenced yard by the Silverdale dog park. We own three dogs. Two labs and one Jack Russell. There will be lots of smells in our yard. We have water access, a kitty pool you can fill on the hot days, a table so you can bring lunch while your pups play and some toys for your pup to play with. Our dogs are always locked up and away from the windows and doors during your visit.

A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry. Note - restroom is only available if I'm home, otherwise there is one approximately 2 miles northwest at the gas station in Port Ludlow
