High Rock meadow is a 2+ acre securely-fenced natural meadow, surrounded by forest. Please note that this is NOT a manicured lawn space; it is a sloping meadow with uneven footing and heavy ground cover. You can explore a network of walking trails that wind through the perimeter forest, while your dogs romp in the meadow and zoom along the trails. There is no end to sniffing material in this 2-acre playground! Again, the terrain in this spot is uneven and sloping, with some steep areas on the trails and possible muddy areas. Sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Those with mobility issues may have difficulty moving about in this spot. Additionally, we are located in a rural neighborhood and there are times when neighbors practice shooting. This is more likely to happen on weekends, so please keep this in mind when scheduling with dogs who are distressed by loud noises. I'm currently accepting bookings up to 1 month out. Owners of dogs in designated off-leash areas must be present at all times within vocal control distance of their dogs, and ensure that their dogs do not cause public nuisance, safety hazard or harass people, other dogs or wildlife. Dogs that exhibit dangerous or aggressive behavior; biting, fighting and excessive barking are not allowed. If your dog becomes unruly or plays rough, you must leash it and leave immediately. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside the off-leash area. Dogs must wear a collar with identification, current dog license and current rabies tag at all times. Under NO circumstances may an owner bring a sick dog into the park (severe runny nose/eyes, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.). No more than 3 dogs per adult are allowed in the off-leash area at any one time. Female dogs in heat are not allowed in off-leash area. Puppies younger than four months of age are not allowed in off-leash area. Owners must carry equipment for removing dog waste. Owners are responsible for removing all of their dog’s feces by sealing it in a plastic bag and disposing of it in designated trash receptacles. Use at your own risk. Owners are legally responsible and liable for their dogs and any injury or damage caused by their dogs. The City of Monroe is not liable for any injury or damage caused by dogs. Children must be supervised by adult guardian. Keep dogs from digging holes. Owners are to fill holes dug by their dogs prior to leaving the area. Owners are responsible for providing water for their dogs. If the owner fails to provide water, the liability for pet health falls upon the owner. Cedarbrook Farms Dog Park with Agility Equipment

Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. To enter the fenced Sniffspot follow the red reflectors up the grassy lawn hill past the large livestock gate that’s at the top, go around the top corner there is a people sized gate. Easy to find, easy to enter our fenced Sniffspot. Easy latch for coming, and going. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, feel free to explore them if you would like to just know, they are not maintained and certain times of year there is brush and ferns. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may occasionally see myself, my husband or my elderly mother by the house, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our home. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. Please do not pick, or disturb the fruit on the trees. Please keep children, and all guests off the fence line, and do not step on the gates or fencing. Shut the gates when coming, and going. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Your reservation must include the correct number of dogs in your visit that is stated in your reservation time. Correct or update this if need be before you start your visit at Barkley Park. We are happy to share our safe quiet countryside with pups and their people. We do not meet our Sniffspot guests, with that being said, feel free to send us a text or ask if you need help with anything. Enjoy! We do offer pet boarding in our home for select clients. Everything our pup enjoys in life, is available to your pet, including a big pillow bed in the heart of our home.

We won't be actively working on it while you are here. We will only have temporary fencing in the first field (on the left as you come in though the first gate) as we the continue the work however. Please keep your dogs on a leash through the first field while we are working on improving the fencing and the area if recall is not good. ** This beautiful 2-acre spot is fully fenced - 4-5' high, gates 4' high. There are potentially 2 areas that you can use right next to each other (fenced in between). Please note that the first Pasture that you come to does have an area where dogs can potentially get through and back to the gravel road. It is right inside the first gate on your right in the forest area there. The great thing is we are not near any sort of busy road. One thing to note is that my neighbor on the adjoining property has friendly, smaller dogs, and they do bark from time to time. You really can't see them all that much as there is brush, sticker bushes, and trees in between our properties. That said, you may hear them from time to time. What I find that works in quieting them up is to just walk over and talk to them. We welcome dogs that have different anxieties as well as being dog reactive and people reactive. There have been many people here with their dogs who have done just fine. There is a spigot with fresh clean well water, next to the clawfoot tub inside second pasture. We also have a bowl there for your use. We have wood for you to purchase, should you desire a fire while there. There are plenty of chairs and benches for folks to sit on. This field is only 30 mins north of Seattle, very close to I-5 and 405. It is relatively flat and a lot of fun for dogs to run and sniff. Wide-open space for running, digging and has quite a bit of shade —a lot of space for retrieving balls or walking around and sniffing. The fencing is very secure and 6 feet tall. Winter update: large puddles in spot #1 due to rain, so if you want a cleaner experience, use our newest spot in front: **NEW** Sniffspot 2 We now have two spots available; we’ve opened a new one we are calling “Spot #2” that is located in the front pasture. This space should experience far less standing water and mud during the winter months. It also features a covered area and picnic table for your use. It is closer to May Valley so does have more road noise. If your pup likes to splash, feel free to use “Spot #1” as usual. If you’d prefer a cleaner experience, Spot #2 should provide that. There’s no difference in booking, just that you can pick which spot you’d like. We may at times need to close one or the other due to standing water or maintenance, but there should always be one spot open. We are working to ensure all amenities of spot 1 are available. Spot 1 *fall/winter update* We are working to get the heavy mud under control, this may take a few weeks. Please bring boots and be prepared for dirty dogs. We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!). Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot. Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. This place was awesome. Nicely fenced pasture, which was perfect for us to use a chuckit and frisbee. Our dog did find some horse poo, which he had a blast rolling in, but we were able to hose him off there, which was fantastic! Will definitely visit again!

Charlie had a blast! The pasture is large and easy to access. Water was provided. There is shade in some areas which is nice for a break when it's sunny. We saw some horses and cows which was really cool. There were a few piles of manure. Luckily he's not interested in eating poo! We will be back again for sure!

We had an amazing time. The pasture was setup perfectly for our dogs. They enjoyed watching the horses walk around in the adjacent pastures and had plenty of space to run as much as they liked. The ranch was a very nice drive from Seattle and easy to find. We can’t wait to visit again!

The pups had a great time sniffing and exploring. They even met the neighbors horse. This property is bordered on both sides by busy streets, but is fully fenced, just make sure your pups are leashed securely to enter the property. Nice large pasture to run to your hearts content

Two of us and our three dogs had a great time. The dogs ran and chased and sniffed. The very friendly horse next door came to the fence to see what was going on --- we learned he likes dogs. Horse had a doggy friend who came over to check us out also, so be sure to let Russell know if you have reactive dogs and need the neighbor to keep his dog in. The fencing was very secure for our three big dogs -- they aren't climbers or diggers so we felt safe there.

This was a great, flat, @ 2 acre pasture (with a few molehills), and not muddy at all. Stumps and wooded areas and a couple of buildings and AJ the friendly horse make for good sniffing/running. Mesh fencing all around (tho if you have a tiny dog maybe re-think). Surprisingly easy to get to from Greenlake/Seattle area, major hiways and not far from Monroe itself. There's a Fred Meyers along the route should you need anything/bathroom. Russell the host - good communication, and unlocked the gate in advance so we didnt have to worry about getting in. We'll be back!

Great spacious area with plenty of fun sniffing spots. My dog is dog-reactive and although he spotted the neighbor’s dog, there was enough space for him to get a comfortable distance away. The grass/moss is nice and firm, despite the heavy rains we’ve been having, and my pup and I had a great time.

This is truly a dog’s paradise!! I took my dogs here today and they had a blast. Not only are the grounds beautiful, there are soooo many cool spots for little noses to explore. Shady spots, sunny spots, an adorable barn, a huge hammock, and even a pool for the dogs to play in! Jen (the host) thought of everything. She even left a roll of doggy bags out back for me to use. This has now become one of my favorite spots to visit - we will be back! :)

Great spot! Easy to find, well taken care of, and nicely fenced with plenty of space for pups to run. It also is private without being too secluded. The dogs loved having a kiddie pool to cool off in and I appreciated that towels were left out to dry them off afterwards. A ChuckIt and frisbee were also provided which was a huge hit with the dogs. Having an acre for them to run meant there was a lot of space to chase! Would definitively recommend this place for reactive dogs.

We had a fantastic time at Jen’s Sniff Spot! The space was large, and well taken care of. Jen was a great host, and had lots of balls, a frisbee and chuckit so there was no need to bring our own. She even set up a kiddie pool which the boys loved and had towels for us to use to dry them off before going back in the car. To top it off, she left us bags to take home fresh apples from the trees in her yard. We had an all around great experience and can’t wait to come back! 😊

Amazing spot and wonderful host! I have a lab/pit bull mix who is VERY reactive with other dogs. The host was very understanding and made sure her three dogs were out of sight and could not be heard. I’m very thankful and highly recommend this spot.

This is a great spot for dogs. The yard is large and long and good for fetch, chase, running around, hide and seek, or just letting the dogs explore. One of my dogs is very friendly, but can get stressed out at dog parks or with too many dogs and he had a blast running around with Jen's dogs. Jen is super friendly and had a chuck-it and some other things available but mine are more interested in the running and exploring.

Plenty big and open for the pups to run. Only notes are the yard was very wet (owner gave heads up and suggested boots) and there were a few apple trees with a bunch of fermenting dropped apples at the base. My new boy tried snarfing them repeatedly. They had fun and were pooped when we left!
