Come and let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us and we think you will love it just as much. Our farm lies on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois. Although it is not fenced in, our property is doggy heaven for dogs trained to be off-leash. Come take a walk, bring a frisbee/ball, or just come let your dog sniff and explore. Please do not go into the land beyond the caution tape and signs. That is not part of our sniff spot. We have many farm animals on our property as well. Please be respectful of our property. We take pride in our farm and love sharing it, but we want to keep it beautiful. Entry in any of the barns/buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of our property. We do live on the property and appreciate our privacy. FYI, this is a working farm. Sometimes as you are pulling in, there might be cars/people in the barns and lot. Please keep that in mind as you are arriving and if your dog is reactive, bring a leash until you can get into the back field.

Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have. Private park on 5 plus acres , currently unfenced, mowed areas and trails with wild life areas and trees, peaceful. Have chickens and turkeys near house , but will put away when I know someone’s coming out. Easy drive 30 minutes south of Milwaukee and west of Racine. 40 acres of fields, prairie, and creek. Easy access and parking. Trails around the property. Minimal traffic on the roads nearby. Garbage pail, tote with towels, bug spray, and sanitizer, water hose, bucket, picnic table, and chairs are available on the premises. Creek area extends from the southern road to the northern property fence line. Please look at Google maps/satellite for a better reference (our property is a large square that boarders 2 roads).

Our hiking trails are located next to our home however you will not hear or see people on the trails that are accessible to you. PLEASE NOTE: Our trails are adjacent to public hunting land. Please be aware and use caution that you *may* hear gunshots during the fall months of hunting season! 28 acres of hiking trails to explore with your pup(s)! These trails offer a workout for you and your dog. They are set back in the woods and are wonderful for photo opportunities! Some hills are VERY STEEP so please use caution and dress appropriately for hiking. Please park along left side tree line in grass. Trail access starts right there!

Use the fenced in agility playground to boost your dog’s confidence or simply play around on the obstacles. The agility area is fully fenced in with 6foot fencing. There is another fully fenced in yard next to it that allows for lots of running.
