Complete with cozy hammocks swaying gently in the breeze, a comfortable lounge area perfect for snuggles and relaxation, and a fireplace to warm paws on chilly evenings, it's a paradise made for both relaxation and play. The outdoor dining area allows for delicious meals while enjoying watching your four-legged companions play. From napping under the shaded patio to chasing balls across the open expanse, this space is a relaxing fenced in backyard for your pup.

Joshua Tree Sniffspot is currently the only private dog park in Joshua Tree, CA. Located in the heart of JT Village. You can book and have an entire private area/garden for you and your pet(s). Relax while your dog plays and enjoy a picnic or gathering with your family & friends for only $25 an hour. * Kiddy Pool (Spring-n-Summer) ** Please note that due to the location we do occasionally have local foot traffic. Water bowl for dogs, ice chest with bottled water for humans, poop scooper and waste container. Property location is less a few minutes from the 10 freeway, which makes it the perfect location to let your dog get in some exercise, and have a potty break along your route without the worry of dirty pet areas at rest stops, or hazardous conditions at gas station parking lots. Your dog will be ready to nap and rest quietly after running and playing at this country sniff spot-which will enable you to continue traveling on to your destination. Have your dog’s birthday party on our lush green grass. Plenty of room for dogs to play and their humans to take pics and enjoy seeing the joy on their faces. The yard is absolutely secure and the dogs can feel free to use all of their senses to have an amazing time. Conveniently location less than 5 minutes from the 10 freeway, our spot makes for the perfect play space for your pup. During summer we offer water features including a mister, splash pad and wading pool. Extra shade is also set up for your comfort. There is an old swing set on property, that is a ‘use at your own risk.’ We keep it up because our dogs, and family members enjoy it, but before use your own discretion before using. Cold bottled water in outdoor frig for humans and fresh water in bowls for your pups. This is a country yard. Country and forest life, rolled into one! Located in Wildwood Canyon, near Wildwood Canyon State Park with beautiful large Ancient Black Oak Trees that tower over our spot for natural shade. We have been Sniffspot hosts for over a year and have even been featured in Sniffspot promotional videos for unique host properties and experiences, along with being a top spot. With a fully fenced area for your fur babies (big and small) to run and explore. While pup parents can sit and relax, walk around the grounds, take a hike on our small backtrail, or swing, it is perfect for pups, adults, and children to enjoy (especially during the summer and snowy months). If your fur baby needs water after so much excitement and play, please feel free to give them water (which is accessible throughout the property), so they have a restful trip home. ❤️ We take pride in giving our fur visitors the best possible experience, along with keeping their human parents in mind. We set out some extras for not only the pups, but also the humans, without any extra charge. Our goal is to make you feel welcomed as soon as you reserve your Sniffspot time and before walking onto our property. ❤️ It's a little piece of heaven that we enjoy daily and decided to open it up to our community. We also have our very own yard guardian, that we named BLUE (featured in our main property photo). He protects the rest of the small birds such as the finches and blue jay's from the crows and hawks. WHAT IS A SNIFFSPOT? You and your pups can come and relax in this beautiful fenced in backyard without having to worry about having other dogs or people around. SniffSpots are perfect for reactive dogs or those who just don’t have the yard space to get all their zoomies out. But of course, anyone is welcome to come and enjoy our pool and yard! Our address is: off Santa Angela St, Highland (full address to be provided after booking). The entire back yard is available to use including the grass area. Pool Extra: If and / or your pups would like to use the pool, please see the pool extras. The pool is a chlorine pool. The pool house is off limits and will remain locked. There is a hose behind the pool house for your use to rinse off before / after pool use. Please bring your own towels. Neighbors have dog(s) on adjacent fence which may be out occasionally. Because we do have nearby neighbors, if your dog(s) bark excessively and don’t settle well, we may not be the perfect spot for you - out of polite consideration for our neighbors. Thank you! Sniffspot allows you to book without a confirmation from me, so again, please check with me first. I can usually accommodate bookings the same day (maybe at a different time), and I am sometimes free during the restricted times on my calendar* Large, fully enclosed yard. Entrance to the acre is the dirt/mulch field road just north of the residence driveway.  A quick call to me ~ 909-234-2072 ~ when you arrive for 1st time visits will help guide you into the Sniffspot - which is all the way back to the Sniffspot Sign 🪧 at the back of the entrance acre.  The entrance gate is to the right of the Sniffspot Sign. Close the gate tightly behind you when you enter. And be sure to close the gate tightly behind you upon your departure. I also request you give me a quick text upon your departure. Our Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky also love running in this acre, and they love to dig, as do many of our Sniffspot pups! We try to fill in holes every few days, BUT, PLEASE be extremely cautious of any holes. If we hadn't had time to fill them in, we usually will put a tall stick straight up right in the middle of the hole to help you determine where they may be. But because we are a farm, and this is one of our extra acre fields, there may be slight dips here and there. So agreeing to this reservation is a full and complete release of liability, so please don't fall! So far so good, fingers crossed, nobody has yet.😊🌻 There may be foxtails at edges of some fencing. My Red Barn Chicken Coop🐤is inside the dog run acre and will be securely locked during your visit. If possible, discourage your pups from pouncing on the enclosed chicken run fences/doors. Totally understand if they do/try! Pups get a pass the first few times until their humans can train them not to do it. Our Husky and Malamute still need a good reminder every time they are enjoying the dog run acre : ) but once they get used to the fact that chickens are there, interest soon dwindles : ) We also have a few outdoor 🐈cats whom have adopted our farm to live at during the years (win/win as they help keep the field 🐁 mice in check, and they pretty much know to clear out of the field when pups are visiting!) There are three horses on a separate enclosed acre to the north of the dog run acre. The dark brown male is 🐎Shake, tan one is 🐴Classy, and the black and white one is 🐴Gypsy. And again, please thank you for discouraging the dogs from jumping on that fence. It has never been an issue in the past so just a reminder :-) PLEASE NOTE: This Dog Run Acre is grassy/green with wildflowers 🌻 starting around December 1st - June 15th, and dry/brown July 1st -November🏜. We enjoy our Sniffspot humans and pups year-round, and have received wonderful reviews whether it was the dry, hotter summer months, or the green, cooler winter months! We have an automatic water spicket 🚰 for the pups, tight left after entering the Dog Acre gate, then all the way back to the fence on left, spicket sticking out through fence.  There will be several chairs 🪑set up in front of the chicken coop, with table, chairs and table umbrella, and additionally a small table w/☂️umbrella provided under the pine trees. Bring drinks, snacks, toys, and enjoy! We suggest you book early mornings in the SUMMER months as there is shade under the pine trees 🌲up until around 11 a.m.  We are up before 7 a.m., so any time early is fine! 🌄 Please bring your own doggie poop bags!  Gather all poop, tie bag, and place it in the waste bin at Sniffspot entrance.🗑 Please note that we do have security cameras placed in various positions around property, including at the sniff spot! We have caught many a coyote, Mountain lion, dogs and bobcats wandering around the chicken coop on these cameras and have been able to shew them away several times through the speakers! Enjoy! Five fully fenced acres with dog tubs for soaking and drinking, trash cans for waste disposal, barbecue, labyrinth, yoga/play platform, rustic restroom, three water spigots, picnic table and chairs, sunshades, fenced round pens, horse stalls, and great views.

Options for all types and sizes! Three areas to choose from. Smaller fenced yard with enough space to get some expertise and pay and do their thing. Large acreage for the runner. Unfenced for quick pit stops for potty and sunsets. Lots of room for exercise and exploring. Water is available on the property. Treats and food upon request. Trash bins available for doggy duty clean up.

Safe and secure

Fully fenced in yard. There’s a strip of grass for dogs to play. ( 1/2 shaded mid day ) Lots of room to roam- but mostly on rocks / sand ( can get hot during peak time ) . Dog pool with hose on side yard. Towels provided. There is an umbrella for shade over the pool for maximum relaxation. Outdoor hammock next to pool. Dog toy bin with used dog toys. Dog treats on back table for the goodest boys and girls & dog water bowl. Seating & table for humans ( in shade ). Water bottles for humans. Poop bags and bug spray also provided (on back table) as well as sunscreen and tanning oil ( next to the pool) . Hope you enjoy our space! * I will lock my dogs inside while you are here. They WILL bark. If you have a friendly dog who wants to play with a friendly bullmastiff, let me know. Our Phil is still just a puppy (1 yr) and loves dogs!
