Very secluded, so great if you have reactive dogs. The wooded areas of the yard do have burrs, so FYI if you have a long haired dog, may want to keep them out of there. 55This is a big yard because the wood privacy fence includes the front of the house. Edward left us water, a chair, welcoming note, poop bags and pile of toys. My scent dog spent the entire hour exploring and smelling everything and was not even interested in playing. There was a pile of wood that I chose to sit on and my dog got on. She is an extreme reactive shelter dog that did not even bark at the quiet neighbor dog or person talking in the back. She couldn't see either one. There are a lot of mature privacy and shade trees, very quiet and peaceful. Edward is working on the yard. I will continue to visit because it's so close to my house, peaceful and my dog likes all the different areas and things to smell. The yard will be even bigger with more areas to explore as the work continues.joyce N.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
