So bring a little wood, have a small fire, sit and enjoy the stars with your fur pups. There is a small wooded area for training hunting dogs, with short and tall grass area around it as well. Lots of room to park. Please pick up after yourself and pet. Bring doggie bags with you. Trash cans available, water available for you and your pet by water hose weather permitting. Usually fall/ winter hoses put away. We also have a concrete slab area with basketball hoop setup. So come spend a couple hours out in the country with your fur baby.

First $25 profit from our Sniffspot goes to the Joplin Humane Society every month! Come use your own private dog park, perfect for training! We offer a large, 1 acre yard that features two wide open spaces that are perfect for running, fetch, and other activities. There is a small wooded area perfect for sniffing as well. We have two sitting spaces provided for hoomans, but please note, the shade varies depending on time of day. On our property you will find a small water pool for your dog. A bowl of water is kept on our front and back porch for your doggy to drink as well. If you happen to need refill water during your visit, we do have a water hose on the east side of the house. Please do not use the hose for play. Our property is surrounded by cattle and we have seen plenty of field mice, moles, rabbit, and squirrels. This is the perfect place to take your dog for exposure training! If your dog loves to sniff new smells, this will also be perfect for you! Please note our area is not fenced. It is surrounded by barb wire so you have a clear marking of available space, but it is not meant to secure your fur baby. I recommend using a long leash or ensuring your dog has a solid recall. 🫶 You may park anywhere in our circle drive. A trashcan can be found on the south end of property right by the road as you enter/leave. We do have a trampoline that is off limits. The play house and other children outside toys are available for use. I do ask you to be respectful of these toys as they belong to my children. I do advise checking for spiders and other bugs as toys are kept outside.

Located right off interstate 44 and just a little southeast of interstate 49 is a large yard for your furry family members to get out and stretch their legs. Large mowed yard, summer has a kiddy pool, sprinkler, and garden hose. There are also horses on property to watch. For the 2 legged family members, there is a hammock, fire pit, chairs, and then a picnic table coming soon. Just a nice large yard to get the zooming out!!

12 avail acres...1300ft of creek line, 6 open acres to run (our Great Dane can exhaust himself on 2 full round-trips - it equals nearly a mile on 2 back-and-forth...but my Beagle/Terrier mix can do it 5x over and still go...so...there's that :) ), 120ft high wooded hill overlooking the field and creek, mowed pathway to campsite at Creekside (mowed with a 30ft circular spot), but your choice if you prefer to camp hilltop (unprepared-not mowed...I will guide you there to make sure you know the property boundary) **Depending on weather, the creek may be very low and slow or raging at flood stage...most dogs know better than to get into fast moving water, but it's up to you to make sure they are safe around it. (lifejackets for all sizes of dogs avail but you should bring your own gps tag to put in/on it if you feel it may be wise) There is no clear pathway at the creek, just a path along it's edge that is mostly rock and roots...easy to navigate if you pay attention. Your dog will have no trouble ;) The water is only 12-18 deep in most spots unless it is flooded by rainfall...check with me ahead of time if that's a concern. Fishing is legal with a license but I respect my local Conservation officers and the MDC...and they are welcome here anytime...make sure your "ducks are in a row" before you cast... Beaver, Muskrat, Kingfishers, Darts, Crayfish, Eel, Rockbass, and a general sense of peace exist at this waterline...We have Great Blue Herons nesting in, what else but sycamore trees...DO NOT DISTURB them!!! Grey herons as well but I do not know where they nest. Whitetail deer, turkey, owls, and many species of bird including a variety of endangered species we are trying to encourage. Depending on the season; Scarlet Tanagers, Baltimore Orioles, Wrens, Finches and Buntings of various types, Bald Eagles, Rarely Golden Eagles, MANY Hawks, Buzzards, Cardinal, Junko, Chickadee, Bluebird, Martins, Falcons, and much more... Yes, you can hear the traffic on the highway nearby...but it dulls rapidly esp near the water when it's high and on the hilltop. The creek has a perfect sound when it's running over the rocks!
