It was nice to have a place to just let all 3 of my girls run free and off leash... We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Our host, Amanda, is very nice. There were snacks and refreshments for us humans too! Thank you for a fun Saturday afternoon! We booked it for 2 hours which was more than enough time to tire out my furbabies.

55I am so thrilled to have discovered this place. I bring my dog with various neighbors and their dogs. There are lots of areas for the dogs to sniff and run - from flat areas to hillsides. There is grass and dirt where the dogs can dig if they desire. The owners only ask that you fill in any holes that could be dangerous. There are many areas for them to explore and lots of room to run. The owners provide water bowels, some toys for the dogs, several shovels for fixing holes, and instruments for picking up after your dog. You rent the area by the hour, so you have the place to yourself during the time you reserve. No worries of aggressive dogs or strangers bothering you. Once I bring my big guy home, he sleeps for hours and hours.
The hosts are so welcoming and sweet. They offered water and coffee for us. They have lounge chairs and a variety of things for entertaining or having parties while your dogs play, e.g., picnic table and barbecues. I haven't used the picnic area for parties yet, but I plan on doing so soon. The area is beautiful in Box Canyon with rock mountains on all sides. The dogs love being there and sleep the rest of the day and evening after a play date there.
But almost as good as having a wonderful play place for the dogs is the fact that we enjoy the area so much. It is an absolutely beautiful spot surrounded by mountains. It is just a short drive, but you feel you are in the country. It is a quiet and relaxing place. The hosts are wonderful people who provide coffee, water and snacks. Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
