Our backyard is about 800 sq ft. It is fully fenced with a 6 foot tall wooden fence. The yard may be small in comparison to others, but it is more than enough room for a sudden case of the zoomies! Don’t believe me? Just ask Olly, my 90 pound lab mix. This yard has served us well the past few months so we are offering it to you! My dog has been bitten twice now and as a result has become reactive to strange dogs her doesn’t know. So I totally understand if you have a dog who is sensitive and needs some time to relax and unwind in his own terms. There is a walking path on the other side of the fence so your pup may hear people or other dogs walking by, but don’t worry! The dogs in this neighborhood are very mild mannered and most will not react if your dog starts to bark. We can offer a chair for you to sit in, a bowl of fresh, filtered water, a tennis ball for your pup to play with, and a trash can to discard your pup’s poop (because who wants to lug that around in their car, yuck).

**Update as of 3/15/25. I've just put down some grass seed, so there's a little more loose dirt out there than usual. Not so much that the yard is unusable though!** We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. Personal dog park! (Head Dog Luna approved)

It’s spring already so we’re back to treating the yard with all natural, pesticide-free, pet and human safe WONDERCIDE flea/tick/mosquito protection! We will continue to apply this into the Fall. Additionally, thanks to some great guest feedback, we just added 2 new chairs for seating along the left side of the fence (in the shade). Feel free to move any of the 3 chairs wherever you’d like! Newly fenced yard (done in October 2020) - safe and secure! ALL the dogs say it’s the BEST, and they don’t want to leave. Legitimately.
