I particularly love the evening hours here; sunsets can be stunning! Depending where you are on the property, you will be treated with views of the foothills and Long’s peak! This beautiful half acre has a fantastic, unobstructed view of the foothills and Long's Peak. Sunsets are stunning from the Dog Park. There are some Russian Olive Trees on the South side of the Park that provide wonderful shade, as well as a cottonwood near the North side, providing even more shade. Our small dog, Oliver, loves to play fetch and run around with other dogs in the yard, so let us know if your dog would like a playdate. No worries if not! Most dogs also love seeing the cows across the street, and going in between the shady and sunny spots. Nice for humans too – it feels rural, but it’s just outside of town. Beautiful view of the mountains. We have a chuck-it, some balls, baggies, water & hand sanitizer 😊🐶 enjoy!

This is not the average suburban development -- this is more like hiking in the National Forest. Lots of squirrels to chase, sniffs to enjoy and hills to run up and down. We know of a trainer who may be offering classes for Agility, Obedience & Behavior Modification at our location. If interested please contact us and provide your information, the trainer will setup a class time when we have sufficient interest to fill a class of 3-6 people at our location.

Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park Notice: The reroofing of all of the building is scheduled, weather permitting, during the week of November 10th-16th. For now, I have closed all of those days and into the following week in case there are delays. When I have a firm plan for the start and finish dates, I will reopen the spot for guests. Thanks for Sniffin' at my Spot and Happy Tails! - Jon The Spot: Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil with natural vegetation that is mostly dry from the summer heat. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. While my field area is strictly for the dogs, there is a horse in a corral area next to the dog field. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. Neither the horse nor the chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. Sniffin' Hours are: 8:30 am -5:00 pm every day of the week. You may reserve time up to 14 days in advance.
