We have a fully fenced area roughly 10 acres with mowed paths for walking. You are welcome to walk thru the field if desired. There are random balls and toys in the field for use, water is available and if we are home during your visit should the restroom be needed we will honor use of that. Dogs may be off-leash and run freely within the fenced area. The off-leash dog area is for dogs, their handlers and those accompanying them. No other use is allowed. Dogs must be under voice control of their handler and in view of their handler at all times. Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the off-leash dog area. Leaving dogs unattended is prohibited. Dogs must be vaccinated. Handlers must pick up after their dog. Puppies must be at least 6 months of age. Motorized equipment prohibited. Handlers must be 16 years of age or older. Children 8 years and under are not allowed in the off-leash dog area; children ages 9 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years or older. Use the park at your own risk. Owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of their dogs at all times. All dogs must be spayed and neutered. Limit 3 dogs per person per visit. No food except gulp-able, bite-sized treats. (i.e. no food in bowls or long-lasting treats) Dogs and owners creating a problem must leave when asked. Potable (drinkable) water not available, please bring your own. Ingestion of untreated agricultural water such as Windsor Lake carries an inherent risk of possible exposure to pathogenic organisms. Dogs are welcome to swim in the water within the designated buoyed area only at the Windsor Lake Dog Park. People are not permitted to swim in this area. Please be aware of boaters passing by, and keep your pet within the roped and buoyed area for their safety.

Booked this spot for a private play date with my boy and a friend! This spot was so welcoming and incredibly well-equipped – you could literally show up empty-handed, and everything you’d need for a fun time with your pup is already there. The host thought of everything: there were adorable Fall-themed photo op areas set up, perfect for capturing those special seasonal moments. Plus, there were so many toys, fresh water for drinking, pool for swimming (appreciated by my water boy, Newfie!), and even agility equipment. Overall, this spot was a dog paradise with tons of space to run, play, and just be a dog safely. If you’re looking for a secure, dog-friendly play area with every detail thoughtfully covered, this spot is an absolute must-book!

Last week, Mom and Pops took me and my brother, Theo to a Sniffspot place called “Unleashed Pasture” in Berthoud. It was AWESOME!! We got to run and run and to talk to the goats and chickens. We’d never seen anything like them before. There were hundreds of places to sniff and check-out. We played with toys, chased balls, dug in play boxes, we even had room to rough house with each other (I won!) They had water and treats for us. Mom and Pops liked it too because there were places for them to sit and relax, clean up bags and everything! Boy, were we tired when we got home. The best Sniffspot we have visited!! Thank you sooo much to the owners who provided such a safe and comfortable space. My girl is a reactive so it’s hard to find a spot for her to have fun and be off leash. We loved hanging out with farm animals that are separated by two fences. 10/10!!! Such a fun and welcoming SniffSpot! It was easy to find and had an easy parking spot. So much enjoyable stuff for the dogs and so much great stuff for pet parents! There were goats & chickens on the other side of two fences, but it was a great way to socialize our dogs to them so it was great! There were also cute little photo ops around the yard. If I could give this quaint little place six stars I would and the hostess was so lovely and welcoming. She also made it very easy to park and there there were so many extras, it’s too many to list. She made sure that there was plenty of dog water, activities for my baby and a warming shed for the humans. The space was very clean. I would go so far as to say it was picturesque. And it was great to get out in the country for a minute. My dog really enjoyed herself. We’ll definitely go again.

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
