Booking Available! Fully fenced 5 acre well maintained property. Multiple different options for fenced areas adjustments with cattle gate access/closure. Fences have proven to keep chickens and goats in without issue. We have our chickens and goats in a separate fenced area (see photos) that can be opened up to larger fenced area, the “spot.” The “spot” has a large pond for pet swimming in fenced area- pond does have an aerator to keep water moving, lotus flowers, frogs, fish, etc. The pond is surrounded by rock which transitions to a sand base a few feet into the water. The pond gets quite deep towards the middle. A sprinkler or hose (available for additional cost) can used for pet water play/bathing. Please remember to bring your pets towels and any necessary bathing essentials with you. Bonfire pit (potentially available- weather dependent- for additional cost). We have a large bonfire pit on the property built in rock. There are some larger rocks surrounding the bonfire pit and pond that can be used to sit and relax on. Wood is available on property for bonfires. Relax at the picnic table that overlooks the pond and bonfire pit. Or feel free to bring a foldable chair to find your perfect spot either under one of the many trees on the property or around the bonfire.

Please note: -There is a swimming pool but generally guests do not use it unless specifically cleared with me. -sprinkler may be available for use on hot days -I have 4 pet chickens that will be contained in a secure coop/run; guests are welcome to say “hello” to them, but please do not to enter the enclosure/shed/coop. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Come and let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us and we think you will love it just as much. Our farm lies on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois. Although it is not fenced in, our property is doggy heaven for dogs trained to be off-leash. Come take a walk, bring a frisbee/ball, or just come let your dog sniff and explore. Please do not go into the land beyond the caution tape and signs. That is not part of our sniff spot. We have many farm animals on our property as well. Please be respectful of our property. We take pride in our farm and love sharing it, but we want to keep it beautiful. Entry in any of the barns/buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of our property. We do live on the property and appreciate our privacy. FYI, this is a working farm. Sometimes as you are pulling in, there might be cars/people in the barns and lot. Please keep that in mind as you are arriving and if your dog is reactive, bring a leash until you can get into the back field.

There are often chickens and horses just on the other side of an adjacent fence which many dogs find interesting, but is not included in the accessible play area. Adults only with dogs.
