55I love that there is a spot to take our pup for a run while we are up North. At home we can go to the local dog park but there are no off leash areas in Haliburton/Minden.

55Lovely spot, quiet and away from hustle and bustle. Fenced-in area is spacious and secure. The dog park is immediately adjacent to a large spacious pasture with horses and emu. Visible pigs and goats. Very clean. Thank you for having us!Caitlin S.

55My dogs had a great time. Lots of wide trails to explore. Bug spray is a must. I didn't find roadside parking an issue as you can park right by the entrance and it's a quiet road.Julie M.

55This spot was absolutely stunning, 5 stars aren’t enough! It was hands down our favourite place and we will most certainly be back. The new driveway was wonderful and the map was very helpful. We booked it for an hour but we will definitely need an hour and a half next time as we weren’t able to do all the trails. The pups enjoyed the little stream and had a nice wade and drink a few times. There were bugs, which is to be expected as you wander the forest, but bug spray was provided at the beginning of the trail too. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
