55This spot is beautiful! Perfect for sunset meandering, although we did keep an eye out for snakes given the location. We saw hare and deer. Buddy enjoyed checking the perimeter and exploring. It was a great opportunity to practice his recall in a more challenging yet serene environment and give him a chance to roam. Really cool spot!Isa R.

55This was such an amazing experience! Shannon was an amazing host. She even came out to show me some of the amenities and discuss why she rents out her area. She is great at communicating as well. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The area was very clean. My babies and his friends loved it. Even my human friends had a great time ;) Haylee R.

55A lot of room for the pup to run, and a decently Marked walking path as well. My dog is great with recall so I didn’t have to worry about the gates being open and that was the only open spot of fencing. If your dog does not have a good recall, just don’t walk towards the front where the gates are.
Definitely would go back when visiting the area.Julie K.

FAQ about our Oro Valley dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 91% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Oro Valley area are 5 stars.
