Large and fully fenced area that comfortably accommodates our greyhound’s needs, as well as our chihuahua’s needs. There is a large grassy area and also a tennis court area that works great for smoothing out dog’s nails. There are areas covered in small rocks, too. Since there are various terrains and it does get hot in the desert, we have dog boots (that are very breathable) and available to borrow, as well as dog visors. We have small, medium, and large boots to protect the paws. Also, personal sunscreen packets are provided for our guest owners. There are many seating arrangements, tables available, sun umbrellas, a water feature, and many areas with natural shade provided. There is one area in particular that makes one think that they are not in the desert, but rather in another part of Arizona that provides shade from pine trees. There are three enclosures that are visible and house two pygmy goats (joey and chandler) and a chicken coop with three chickens. You might see a rabbit or squirrel on occasion. Sometimes, the tortoise will emerge from his enclosure to greet you. There are fruit trees on the premises if you’d like to take a lemon when in season. There is also a hose to use if needed. (You will want to run the water for a bit since the hose gets very heated in the summer months). Parking is conveniently located near the gated entry. There will also be bags available if your dog relieves itself. We are sure our property will provide a peaceful retreat to enjoy with your canine friend.

*Railing for pool needs fixed, please use caution, it just broke today(8-18)*Little slice of paradise for the pups! Hopefully this will be a nice relaxed area for your pup to come and play and not have to be stressed. They will have lots of smells to explore in the backyard since I have two dogs of my own. I will hopefully have all the amenities I want set up before opening! Toys, splash pad, herding ball, and more! If you want to use the splash pad, feel free to turn on the hose, I just ask that it be turned off before you leave! Thanks! I am also having Poodini come every Friday morning to clean and sanitize the yard(that’s why there are time blocks). But I really love the idea of getting the turf sanitized weekly! Let me know if you have any questions! More photos will be posted soon! One of my reviews said there was a smell in the backyard and it looked as though nothing was prepared and the splash pad was not turned on. As I have said in my description, if you want to use the splash pad, I have guest turn it on and off themselves. As for the smell, I have no control over that when there are dogs in the yard almost all day(it also had just rained). And I am aware of the railing for the pool. It literally just rusted all the way through at the bottom today(8-18). I will get that fixed I just have no idea who to contact yet to do so.

Hike Piestawa Peak and then swim and cool off in our fully fenced yard, with block walls, and our dog friendly swimming pool with Baja deck for standing, and steps on both ends for easy access/exit. Turf area for doing ‘business’ and we have floating and non-floating dog toys for play time. If we happen to be home, all blinds are pulled closed for privacy. Please note: There are 2 security cameras in back for your safety.
