Need essentials? We’ve got you covered. Hose access and bowls for pup drinking water, a doggy first aid kit, pooper scooper, and trash can. Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water bowl/container- we do have a hose available for fill ups. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Overall, the spot is quiet but please read the detailed sections about people, dogs, and domestic animals that can be seen/heard from our spot prior to booking. Perfectly level, no ditches, nearly all fenced in, except on both sides of the house towards the water as the pictures demonstrate. Nice water view too! Great place for dogs to run, play catch and enjoy the fresh air off leash. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes in the yard. PARKING proceed up the driveway to the very end where the asphalt turns into gravel - continue straight all the way to the end of the gravel to park. Try not to drive over the cobblestone edging please.

60 acres of forest and trails on a woodland preserve. Past our property is the Appalachian Trail. Canopy shade when there are leaves. There are little streams, logs, rocks and all sort of areas for digging, running, jumping and sniffing. There is an upper trail and a lower trail and they both loop together. Up the trail to the right is a deck with chair and table and supplies. You can watch your dog in all directions from this vantage point as they run free and smell all the smells of a forest.

No bells and whistles unfortunately, but if you need a grass fenced yard to run with your baby and maybe play ball then here you go! Quiet neighborhood with a fence that my dogs have never gotten past, so hopefully yours wont either!

Welcome pups & humans! Our fully-fenced dog run is a flat 60x30 feet area with low grass, dog toys, treats, water bowls, and treated with organic pest control for ticks and mosquitoes. Fencing is high for bigs, and goes completely down to the ground for littles! What we make thru Sniffspot goes to the care of animals we rescue! About 1/3 is shaded, Wi-Fi, covered porch and a dedicated shed aka “pup parlor” with sofa and chair to chill out in inclement weather. If added, we can set up the kiddie pool for your visit. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and water for the humans. Pup playground is located on a 4-acre property (you can also have access to) called Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (www.gracelandmeadows.org) where we save pets and farm animals from cruel lives and needless deaths. The spot is named for our recently departed Rocco, our love and inspiration! Sniffspot fee goes to the care of the rescued animals. Currently we’re home to two rescued horses, six chickens, and four companion birds, located in their own separate enclosed areas. We have two rescued dogs permanently sanctuaried here for a year+ and possibly another one or two at times that we’re fostering. My dogs will be inside when you visit — unless you’d like your dog to have a playmate … in which case, happy to discuss and try out a playdate. Large fully fenced in yard with some Adirondack chairs you can sit in. We also have a table and chairs with an umbrella for shade. Lots of room to run and play ball with your dog. The backyard gets almost full sun midday and full shade in the morning and late afternoon. If it’s a hot day we recommend booking early or later in the day. We put out a fan on the table for hot days, and an ice water pitcher for the humans. We also can give ice water in the dog bowl for hot sunny days. A kiddie pool is also available if the weather is warm enough and your pup enjoys water. Bring your own towel! The two balls that are placed out are washed with soap after each doggo visit.
