Or on longline. Our dogs are always loose on our property but great with recall. We have 2 dogs that will be inside when you visit. Please let me know if you want the kiddie pool in advance. No neighbours to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive. Trails cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent.

With plenty of room to run, explore, and play, this spot is ideal for dogs who need a bit of space to stretch their legs. The area is mostly grassy, with a few shady spots and gentle hills, providing a calm environment away from busy streets. Fresh water and shaded seating are available for both you and your dog to relax and enjoy your time here. Whether your dog wants to run around or simply explore at their own pace, Golden Root Acres is a great place to let them be themselves in a safe, quiet setting. Please park anywhere in the driveway and enjoy your visit!

Please do NOT walk in the back forest. The property is 50 acres, however we wish to keep the sniffspot to the 2 acres around the house as to not disturb the wildlife. Playset is off limits (it's old and not suitable for guests) Chairs & picnic table are behind the house as well as the trashcan. 2 minutes from 401.

Also there is a tap near the gate that you can fill your dogs bowl incase your dog/dogs get thirsty. We have provided a tote full of toys and balls that your dog/dogs can play with. Plus the backyard has lots of different things that will be exciting for your dog/dogs to experience. There is an extra that you can select when booking your time slot called treats and if you select that extra then we will hide treats for your arrival! Lots of street parking near our house and the bag hanging on our tree is for any poop bags you may have. If you have any questions please let us know!

Almost a half an acre completely fenced-in yard (to the ground so even 5-lb dogs can’t escape) in a quiet neighborhood near 23 and Mound. Grass is kept short and natural. Never any poisonous pesticides or fertilizer used. All Natural! Seating and doggie pool available (request pool is emptied before leaving and not filled more than half or you can’t tip over to empty). No dogs in surrounding yards. Great for big and small dogs! Lots of trees and shrubbery to give you a private oasis. Please close the gate when leaving. Note: I bought my house with a large after one of my dogs was attacked at a dog park causing 2 surgeries and very expensive vet bills. Enjoy my yard with piece of mind.

Our country property offers a serene and spacious environment for your dog to explore, play, and relax. While the area is not fenced, there’s plenty of room to roam with open fields, tree-lined paths, and a charming creek. A trail meanders through the field, leading all the way back to the next concession, providing ample space for sniffing and exploring. Pet owners can unwind at one of our shaded furniture spots or take a peaceful stroll through our garden. Depending on the season, you’re welcome to pick some veggies or flowers to take home. We’ve also provided a convenient water tap at the end of the pool house for your pup’s hydration needs. Please note that while the pool is a beautiful feature of the property, we kindly ask that no pets or people enter the swimming pool. For your peace of mind, I’m often home working on various outdoor projects. If you’d prefer a bit more privacy, just let me know in advance, and I’ll be happy to accommodate your request. Lastly, you might meet our friendly outdoor cat, Kenny Rodgers, during your visit. He’s quite the character but will happily give your dogs space if they’re not feline-friendly.
