Leashes may be removed inside the fenced Off-Leash Areas of the Facility only. 3. All dogs must be under control and in view of the owner/handler at all times. Dog owners/handlers are responsible for picking up and disposing of their dog’s waste, repairing any damage done by their dogs and removing their dog’s toys from the Facility. 8. All dogs must have current vaccinations and registration and must wear a collar with current rabies vaccination and registration tags. Dog owners/handlers must have a current rabies vaccination certificate available and comply with current Cedar Park Animal Control Ordinances. 9. Aggressive or Dangerous Dogs are prohibited in the Facility. Dogs showing any aggressive behavior shall be leashed and removed from the Facility immediately. 10. Dogs under four (4) months of age are not allowed in the Facility. 11. Dogs using the Facility must not be in heat and must be healthy and free of parasites. 12. The small dog Off-Leash Area is for dogs less than thirty (30) pounds only. The large dog OffLeash Area is for dogs weighing thirty (30) pounds or more. Small dogs are permitted in the large dog Off-Leash Area but enter at your own risk. 13. Dog owners/handlers must carry leashes (one per dog) while in the Facility. 14. No food (dog or human) or training treats allowed in the Facility. 15. Glass containers, alcohol and tobacco of any kind are prohibited in the Facility. 16. All Pets must be on a leash. No glass containers. It is a violation to exhibit, use, carry, or dispose of glass beverage containers in all city parks. No motor vehicles are allowed except in parking areas and driving lanes. This includes motorcycles, motorscooters, and minibikes. Hunting, Fishing, or Camping: No hunting, trapping, or catching of wildlife is allowed within any city park. Fishing activities must comply with Federal, State, and Local guidelines AND are only allowed in designated areas. Camping is prohibited, with the exception of city-sponsored or community events. All bounce houses must be operated off of a generator supplied by the renter and not plugged into city electricity in parks. The City of Buda is not responsible or liable for electrical outages as a result of the rental. Fireworks/explosives of any kind are prohibited in all city parks without proper permits. Open fires or unauthorized cooking pits are prohibited in all city parks without proper permits. Concerts or sound amplification are not allowed without proper permits. The connection of garden hoses to city water faucets is prohibited.

Dog Park at Purser Family Park

1. All dogs must be on a leash and collar while entering and exiting the dog park. 2. Dogs are not required to be on a leash while in the fenced area of the park. All dogs must be under the control of the owner/handler and there is a limit of 2 dogs per adult at any time. 3. No dog may be left unattended in the park and must be within view of and within voice control of the owner/handler at all times. Dog owners/handler must be physically capable of controlling their dogs and must prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting and aggressive biting. 4. Dogs showing any aggression must be leashed and immediately removed from the park. Dogs with a known history of aggressive or dangerous behavior are prohibited. 5. Dog owners/handlers must carry one leash per each dog under their control. 6. Dogs under 4 months of age are not allowed. 7. Dogs must have current vaccinations. 8. Dogs must be healthy and free of contagious disease and parasites. 9. Dogs in heat are not allowed. 10. Appropriate dog toys are allowed but not toys that are edible such as rawhides and bones. 11. Dog owners/handlers are responsible for picking up and disposing of all of their dog’s waste. 12. Dog owners/handlers must repair any damage caused by their dog (such as holes dug buy the dog). 13. Animals other than dogs are not allowed. 14. The small dog enclosure is only for dogs weighing less than 30 pounds and no large dogs are permitted in the area. The large dog area if for dogs weighing 30 pounds or more. Small dogs are allowed in the large dog enclosure but at their own risk. 15. All children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times while in the dog park. 16. The park is subject to closure upon determination by the City that there is a reason deemed to be in the public’s interest or safety or maintenance. 17. Any person who violates the Dog Park Rules may be removed and may be prohibited from returning to or using the park.

Park is open from dawn to dusk. Periodic closings on Friday mornings for maintenance. Periodic closings for special events. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. It is recommended that animals be spayed and neutered. Female dogs in any stage of heat are not permitted in the dog park. Dogs Showing any signs of aggression must be leashed and removed immediately.
