Our backyard is nestled in a small, quiet, and dog friendly neighborhood. Please bring your own towels if you plan on using the pool. You are more than welcome to adjust the umbrella and outdoor seating so that you stay under the shade. In the event some of these items are not provided it's due to my husband and I most likely not being home and not having enough time to set up. I do apologize in advanced but I do hope you also provide your own amenities just in case. :) PARKING - Directly in front of the house, tires flush against the grass but not on the grass. Please use the gate on the left side if you are facing the house. The Sniffspot sign will be posted. POOL - Our pool is chlorinated and maintained weekly. The shallow end is 3 ft and the deep end is 7 ft. It is not heated. There is a hose near the patio for you to bathe your pup after the pool if you wish. Please provide your own shampoo. Humans are more than welcome to enjoy the pool as well! :) THURSDAYS - Our pool maintenance man comes on Thursdays between the hours of 10am-12pm so please do not book during this window. FLORIDA HEAT - Please be mindful of the temperature. Read this article from the AKC to familiarize yourself with a heat stroke in dogs and what to look for. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/heatstroke-in-dogs/ NIGHT - Bookings are open to take at night. It's dimly lit and no lighting on either side of the house so please take that into consideration. I suggest you bring your own flashlight or portable camping lantern. TRAINERS AND DOG WALKERS - My space is available to you as well! TRANSPERANCEY - For safety reasons there will be a camera facing the backyard :) NO DIGGING - Please do not allow your dogs to dig in the dirt area that boarders the pool or the yard. We are in process of patching up the dirt area. BARKING - We know your furry friends are having a good time and happy barks are totally ok! Please just keep in mind we do have very kind neighbors and we still need to respect the levels of excessive barking. :) EMERGENCY - In case of an emergency and someone is home please do not hesitate to knock on the door! Help is not guaranteed but we will try to assist in anyway within legal limitations. Coral Springs Emergency Animal Hospital is also the closest clinic.

Dog owners/handlers assume all responsibility for their dogs. Entrance and exit gates must be secured at all times. All dogs must have a current rabies tag affixed to their collar or harness. Dog Park at Holiday Park

All dogs must have current vaccination and license. Puppies under four months old are not permitted. Owners must stay with and be responsible for their pets. Aggressive dogs may be removed at the City’s discretion. Dog owners shall be responsible for disposing of all fecal matter deposited by their dog. Dogs shall not create a nuisance by causing any form of disturbance such as excessive barking or any similar conduct. No more than three (3) dogs per person are permitted. Rollerblading, roller skating, and bicycle riding are not permitted in Bark Park or Holiday Park Dog Park. All dogs must be leashed until safely inside the Dog Park and returned to a leash prior to exiting the Dog Park. Owners/ handlers must have one (1) leash per dog at all times. 2. Barkham Dog Park at Markham Park

All dog owners must have valid dog park passes; dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination on file at the park office. Dog handlers must stay within sight of their dogs at all times. There is a limit of three dogs per adult handler. Handlers must have within reach one leash for each dog. Dog handlers are solely responsible for their dog(s). This is a dog park – no other animals are permitted. Cleaning up after your dog is your responsibility. We provide bags, so please use them. For their own safety and health, puppies under 4 months are not permitted. Dogs in heat are also prohibited. Any pit bull off leash must be muzzled in such a manner as to prevent it from biting or injuring any person or animal. (City of Sunrise Ordinance 251-A, 2(4-17.3), 5-2-89) Prohibited items include food of any kind, spiked or pronged dog collars, dog pools, community water dishes. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the off-leash areas. Once there, however, unleash your dog. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave the off-leash area. Monitor your dog – if it is annoying or provoking others, it is time to leave. Please respect other patrons’ requests regarding their dogs. If your dog starts to dig, stop it and fill in the hole. Please limit your dog park use to one hour. We reserve the right to set a time limit for your visit if attendance is at peak capacity. The fee is $5 per day or you can purchase an annual pass for $25. Passholders can have up to three dogs. Owners are required to provide proof of rabies vaccination at the time of purchase. Barkham Park is open daily from 8am except for Tuesdays when the dog park opens at 10am (open later in the morning due to maintenance) and it remains open until the whole park closes. Dog owner/handler must clean up after their dog(s) and use proper disposal containers provided. 13. Alcoholic beverages, food (human/dog) and smoking are not permitted. Small bite sized training treats are permitted. 14. Recreational equipment is not permitted. 15. Dog Park is unsupervised and self-directed. However, if assistance is needed, please call the Parks & Recreation Department at 954-448- 3319 or 954-545-6670. If immediate or life threating assistance is needed, please call 911. 16.
