The owners have provided a covered sitting area near the parking area and several benches throughout the property. There was fresh water for the dogs and a clear spot for dog waste, I didn’t see doggy bags. The two acres is lightly wooded, sitting on a slope that overlooks the southern and southwest Palouse, excellent for sunsets. The owner greeted us from their house and was very friendly but not at all intrusive on our time. The dogs and I enjoyed our visit and will be back. Dustin B.

The terrain is pretty hilly, but not dangerously so, and it made for good exercise for all of us—dogs and humans. Very thoughtful touches, including benches and chairs for humans to take a break, toys and treats for dogs, and multiple places where they provide poop bags and trash cans. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
