55I visit Taylor pond 1-2 times a week to do water training with my Retriever. The water there is the cleanest in so cal, there’s Tules/bulrushes in one corner and even a couple of docks for dogs to leap off. I’ve never had any major issues with other dogs though there is a boarding facility there.Ray S.

55Great location! Dogs had a great time. Just be aware that Airbnb guests may come & go through the main gate, so make sure your dog either has good recall, or you can grab them quickly (I had a new foster with me for his first outing and I learned a few valuable things 😂).Mackenzie S.

55I loved this place, the only concern was the amount of people in and out. My dog is friendly with everyone, however, can be reactive to unknown dogs. I was on edge all the time wondering if another dog would pop out of nowhere. We did enjoy this place, not as private as I thought it would be. Elizabeth I.

55Easy to find. Fully fenced. Super sweet host. Safe area. Tons of seating around the pond. Road around pond perfect for walk. Towels, water, chairs in shade. Can’t ask for anything more! Best sniffspot I’ve been to! My girls are all sleeping hard after such a fun play date. Jennifer D.

55This is a great water spot for dogs that love to swim. Clear pond, not muddy. The fences are secure and there are ducks and birds. There were a fair number of people in the area with us, so if your dog has poor recall or is reactive to strangers this would not be a good choice. There were two people fishing, people outside the home, a couple outside their camper, and a man kayaking while we were there. Braden B.

55Spot was great for the dogs. Everything that they love - water, nature, trails. There are people coming and going so if your dog has issues with new people or is overly protective it may not be the place. (We had a great time, but I felt bad because one of my dogs was barking at people on the property - that’s a training/temperament thing and not a property issue.) Katie H.

55Will definitely be going back! Here are some of my observations about the spot:
Easy to get to and park, instructions were clear on entering. Great property with a little pathway to walk around the pond and tons of interesting sniffs for my dog. Grateful for the hose provided to rinse my dog off with after his swim, and for the public restrooms, furniture, toys and towels!
The property has a bunch of other stuff going on. Caution to people with reactive dogs: they have a doggie daycare nearby and little trailers for people to camp in on site, so you could be sharing the spot with them or any of the residents that live nearby. My dog isn't reactive, but there was someone that decided to go fishing halfway through our stay which made me feel bad to let my dog keep swimming and disturb the fish. Oh, and my dog managed to snag a floating fish hook and narrowly avoid stepping on the hook itself but I quickly threw it away. It's an unfortunate but normal occurrence around lakes/ponds so just stay vigilant!
Otherwise, great time and my dog LOVED this place!Krista C.

55Great location!! We had a great time walking around the pond a few times during our hour and could have definitely stayed longer (and plan to next time!). There were a few people coming and going while we were there, but my dogs are fine with people and not flight risks out of the gate, so it was a non-issue for us. The pond was super fun, a great place for the dogs to swim!Ellie O.

55My pups had such a blast at this location! A beautiful morning spent exploring. Tons of stuff for them to get into, and definitely a large space. My youngest dog loved seeing the ducks and running down with her paws in the water. We will be back weekly from now on! Great spot!Megan W.

55Great spot! So peaceful. There were other dogs on the property but they were fenced in a separate area. The pond is beautiful. We will definitely be back! To open the gate, push the button inside the pole. Melinda C.

55Our pups & their buddy had the best time at Taylor’s Pond. The host is very hospitable and came out to say hi and see if there was anything we needed. Our pups enjoyed racing around the pond & wading into it! Just having the freedom for them to run & be free made us so happy! The only thing to watch out for is there are some buildings in the very back corner of the property with some construction materials lying around. One of our dogs insisted on being curious and trying to get into everything so I had to lead him out of there. The gate is on a timer so self closes once it has been opened. A couple of cars did come through the gates while we were there but the host gave us warning so we were able to hold onto our pups while we waited for the gate to close (I have one escape artist who no doubt would have made a mad dash for the exit if I had not held onto him)! 55Great visit as always. If you’re planning on visiting for the first time please keep in mind there’s people on the grounds and the gates of the property are constantly being opened as well as vehicles going in and out. If your dog is an escape artist you might want to reconsider. Esmeralda H.

55This spot was fantastic! Upon arrival, my Cane Corso, who thinks he's a lab jumped right into the lily pads for a nice splashdown. Then we did many laps around the pond area, stopping at times to look at the Ducks or of course do some sniffing. My pup loved it and we will definitely be back again!Gayle B.
