September 8th: the pool is not currently set up. We need to fix our outside water. Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

We believe dogs are family so we have worked hard to create a customized experience for you and your furry family that you will remember forever. We offer two separate fenced-in areas that connect. Are you looking to expose/introduce two dogs in a safe and welcoming environment where you can monitor their body language and temperament? If yes, then our space is perfect. Each dog can have their own fenced-in area to play and observe or open the gate and connect the two spaces for your dogs to explore all that we have to offer. Included with other amenities, we offer confidence building equipment, a digging station, stretching board, pools for water (seasonal) and sensory play, enrichment toys, natural fitness stations and more! Have a special request or need? Let us know. We are happy to accommodate if we are able! Clean water bowls are also offered as well as a sink to easily refill and wash your hands or a toy as needed (seasonal). When done playing with the toys, simply leave them in the bucket provided for cleaning and sanitation for the next furry friend. We also offer a hose and sprayer as well as dry towels (seasonal). Feel free to dry your dog off after splashing in the pool and wipe their feet before they hop back in your car. Simply leave the used towel on the bench and we will pick up. Waste pick up is simple and easy. You will find poop bags in our mailbox located just inside the entry gate. Please pick up and dispose of waste in the garbage pail found near the mailbox. We can't wait to welcome you to our Golden Dog Playground - an oasis set among the woods with distance from the road and neighbors.

A large farm property. Featuring large fields with mowed paths for walking and long grass for exploring. There will be a seating area with a trash can provided for pet waste and drinking water for your fluffy friends. In case of sudden rain you are welcome to open the barn door and sit inside and wait out the storm or get out of the sun for a minute. Thier is a hose and kiddie pool if your dog wants to play in the water. Thier are goats and ducks on property in a fenced in area please control your dog around them and do not allow into the fences areas. Feel free to sniff through the fence. Your dogs can run off leash safely the property is located in a dirt road with little traffic lots of people walking the road with their pets. Thier is a public pond a little down the road you can walk to for even more exploring. *During the two blocked times is when we put the goats in and out and feed them. If you would like to book during these times please note we will be in and around the yard.

Welcome to our hobby farm! Dog Day Farms boasts 5 acres of maintained walking trails and a fully-fenced 1000sq ft play area, complete with splash pool, activity equipment and a shaded seating area. The trails are also bursting with Maine flora and wildlife, making for a fun nature walk. We also offer several chairs & benches along the trails, placed in a few peaceful locations, and welcome you to bring a picnic and relax with your pup! We are happy to provide water, dog bowls, and a few other essentials (bug spray, poo bags, etc) for your comfort. We look forward to your visit!

Our farm is open fields, lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim, and in the summer grab some vegetables at the farm stand. There are ungroomed walking trails that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. There are a couple other dogs on site but they’re far away at the front farm house, very old and won’t bother you. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. We expanded this space to make it twice as large and we’ve added new lights. Come hang out some evening. Our new night-time spot! These long cold winter nights make it hard to find a place to take your furry friends. Come visit our farm where we have a lit up, fenced play yard, glow in the dark collars to use, and lots of toys. For the people there are two 3 sided shelters with seating. Get out of the weather, charge your phone, have a free hot drink, rent a fire pit, and stay warm while your dogs play! You are also welcome to use this spot in the day-time! Just book the ZuZu’s Zoomie Acres location! This was we ensure we never double book in the day-time.

We have a large unfenced outdoor yard! The woods are also ours in the back yard if you’re up for a private hike with your pup! Our land is 3 acres in total with lots of unwooded yard space to run and play fetch. We are located at a dead end road so lots of privacy and quiet wildlife area. Come enjoy a relaxing play date with your best furfriend!

Spending an hour here will help you and your dog bond while getting exercise without the worry of other dogs/humans being on trail.
