The property is 5 acres and fully fenced but 3 of the 5 acres is perfect for dogs there is a long treeline of 50 or so assorted trees mostly eucalyptus 50 feet high. Plenty of parking, indoor bathroom in our warehouse. We also have 6 miniature goats available for interactions if your dog won't hurt them. But the goats are separated from the area by fencing.

Really great SniffSpot! From east Clovis, it was just a 15 min drive away. There is a bigger space that’s fully fenced (sometimes wild peacocks are roaming in there) but there is also another fenced area further in where they don’t go. Whether you’re in the smaller fenced area or bigger one, both have ample space for a large dog to run! Plus, a kiddie pool, provided water bottles, snacks, and a bathroom! You can see horses, chickens and goats but all were a safe distance away. John, the host, is very kind. We will be back! Thank you so much for offering your property on SniffSpot

What a wonderful place! John was an awesome host. I have 3 large breed dogs and needed a space where they could really run, which they did. My dogs had a fantastic time running and sniffing around. The property is plentiful- with two large areas for the dogs to run. We chose to stay towards the back area of the property side where there was still some water from irrigation- the dogs loved it! Plus there’s a small dog pool, an area to sit under a large tree. I plan to go back soon. Thank you!!!

We loved our visit at this sniffspot! The hosts were so kind to give clear directions and provided a cute setup within the fenced area for us pup parents to sit. Our dog loved zipping through the field and relaxing in the shade with us. Was such a bonus to see the goats and peacocks on the property. A duo of sweet horses came up to say high in the adjacent yard and there is a small hole in the fence that our herding dog was eyeing, but the horses seemed completely unphased by his barking. We did leave a bit early as to not inconvenience the neighbors with his barking but next time we'll just set up a camping chair to block off that small section! Overall, we loved it and can't wait to come back :)

Easy to find and enter - you can open the gate and drive in. The sniffspot is securely fenced, cold bottled water provided, concrete pad and a hose for a pet bath at the end. This was a great place for my 30 lb dog to sniff and run for 45 minutes. It was muddy, with multiple patches where the water was 4-6 inches deep - the dog loved running through this. There are peacocks and chickens who wander into the fenced part that my dog was intrigued by (but couldn't catch). Most of the yard is in the sun but there are shaded patches for sitting (two chairs provided) and some shaded areas to explore under trees. There's a restroom provided - I didn't use that. My dog got very dirty, so did my shoes, but we left fairly clean with the help of the hose. Great place to exercise a pet and helpful hosts - I recommend.

My dog was in heaven! We were in the enclosed area behind the warehouse, I think it’s around 3acres. She probably ran about 80% of the time and enjoyed checking out the goats, she made friends with some horses too. The hosts gave clear, easy instructions & were super friendly. My dad and I took our dogs to John and Amber's dog park. There were signs listed to identify the place as a Sniffspot place. I did ring the bell to confirm I was putting the dogs in the correct area. Our dogs ran around and safely explored the area. You could see horses, goats, chickens and peacocks. They were secure in a different area so our dogs couldn't disturb them. We were left to just enjoy the time with our dogs. Amber was kind enough to provide chairs for us because we forgot to bring some. It was our first time using Sniffspot and we will definitely be going back.

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
