Seasonal pond in the upper meadow. ALL 32 acres are fenced with triple barbed wire. Sorry! No water, chairs or poop bag trash cans on site. This is not a place that gets policed by anyone but you! Please help keep this site as pristine as you find it. If you pack it in please pack it out. Please park on the gravel rather than in the grass. The I-5 of the Pacific Northern railways runs right by my property. The trains are frequent and loud. Be aware if you have sound reactive dogs (or humans). Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Fully fenced 1 acre dimensions are approx 50'-1000'. Water bucket and hose at entrance and at approx 400 feet in. Picnic table at the far end of property with shade awning for humans. Fort Lewis helicopters may be flying around. Fence is on property line with neighbors driveway on other side. Neighbors on one side of fence have dogs that may or may not be out. Goats (ours) may be out on the other side yard. Park on top, and keep gate closed please. This space is primarily goat pasture. Please no smoking, no littering (this includes sunflower husks/food waste), and do NOT drive down the hill. All proceeds go to child's 529 College Savings Plan so thank you for visiting! 15 Acres Mostly Fenced Open Field In La Center

This 15+ acres of hay field is mostly fenced, with an opening at the top. If you choose, there is a path along the outside that leads to a creek(unfenced) to the right at the field. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. I teach dog training at the red barn, you may come to parking lot of cars. Dogs will always be leashed and under control and typically away from the parking lot. The students are instructed to leave you alone. Off road parking, I will give clear directions before arrival. Come roam around a huge open space! Bring a ball or just have a sniff party! *Electric Fence surrounds the horse pasture - which you must pass to get to the sniff spot* Please keep to the designated sniff spot area, the top field and barn area is NOT open to the public. Any equipment in the area, including dog agility equipment, is NOT for public use. Please take your waste with you or dispose of it properly!

Dexter's Bark Park - OPEN FOR WATER LOVING PUPS!

Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced FIELD for your dog(s) to run, play, sniff and bark! PLEASE SEE UPDATES! SEASONAL LAKE! **Early December we flooded. The waters have finally receded enough to enter. If your dogs love to sniff and swim, they will love it! So many new smells! Plus they can go search for all the toys that floated away! It is a little mucky near entrance but not too bad. The water covers roughly 1/3rd of spot. It may be close to 24” deep in the center. If you have questions, send a message! THIS IS A FIELD, MEDIUM & HIGH GRASS, not always mowed short. Our dogs love rolling and sniffing in it! Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade trees and seating make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass, slight hills and a sand pile to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc are added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. During the summer there are two unfiltered pools, one small and one 9’ above ground stock tank. LARGE POOL CLOSED FOR THW SEASON. Please make sure pups know how to get in/out safely. There are towels in a bin near the table. ***PLEASE POSTPONE IF YOUR DOG IS IN HEAT - we’d love her to visit once done though!*** We ask that you not use electric collars while visiting, thank you. **May-July 4, New Years** there may be fireworks displays nearby. These are usually Fri-Sat mid day into evening. Feel free to message questions if you are concerned. We also have some new rescue dogs that may be heard barking as they adjust. They are 200’ or so from spot but may be heard. WINTER: Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. SUMMER: (closed for season) During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One adult may accompany each dog but please no children. Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental support Misspits and the animals in our care.

Lewis River Lavender

We have an open 7 acre property that is surrounded by trees and blackberries. This is a small working lavender farm. The entrance and one other opening to a neighboring field are the only openings to the property. We are visited by deer on occasion and have two dogs of our own that can be kept inside during your visit or allowed to play outside if you wish. We have a covered patio to get out of the sun or a large patio in the sun if you prefer. Water is provided for dogs and people. Come and relax while your dog enjoys the open range.
