Hello! I hope you and your pup enjoy your reservation. A few tips to help first-time guests: - Make sure the address you come to is 61 3rd st South Orange NJ 07079, and NOT 61 w 3rd st. Sometimes Apple Maps will add in that West, but that’s a different address. - Please don’t park in the driveway, as we may need to come and go during your visit. There’s typically lots of free street parking on Third street between Valley and Academy. - Feel free to let yourself into the backyard through the white gate at the back of the driveway. Please be very careful to ensure that the gate fully closes and latches each time it’s opened, as it will not close + lock behind you automatically. - There is a water spout attached to a hose by the gate, feel free to use! Just please don’t try to disconnect the hose from the faucet, as it’s been damaged in the past. To use, gently turn the brown handle to release the water, and gently turn it back to shut off. - No need to worry too much about our outdoor furniture, it’s mostly hand-me-downs and we don’t mind if it gets banged up by energetic puppies 😊 feel free to move it around as needed. - All we ask is that you please clean up after pup and take any garbage and waste with you, as we do not have an accessible garbage can at this time (but hopefully soon!) - Please feel free to message me with any questions at all! There is a patio with table and chairs for humans to relax. front yard has a hill with a long driveway for some great exercise and backyard is fully fenced. Playground set for small children to use while the doggies run free without disturbance. The trampoline is off limits; please do not use it. Feel free to use the hose to fill your dog’s water bowl. In winter, the water is turned off. If you want to enjoy the lush (not fenced) front yard, relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the sunset or sunrise. The view is stunning. This setting is named after our beautiful late German Shepherd, Cheyenne, who lives on in our hearts forever.

Take Two Acres is a private, fenced two acre property that borders a working horse farm. It is a tranquil, open setting, surrounded by trees with lots of sun and shade for your fur baby's enjoyment. Many amenities are offered for you and your pups enjoyment of our space including toys, water hose and bowls, poo bags, and a large fire pit. We have two dogs of our own and do our best to pick up after them. Please understand it is a large property and they go out alone at night. We also have alot of deer traffic and other furry critters that we share our "piece of earth" with. Again, we do our best, but there are no guarantees you will not come across them (critters) or a land mine or two visiting out piece of earth.

My dog plays here often and we always pickup the droppings each day, so when your dog comes, expect a clean yard. We mow the backyard every 5 days so it'll be short.
