We have a spacious and open backyard that is fully fenced in. Our backyard has 2 entrances via gates that close and lock very securely so no chance of your pets getting loose. Much of the backyard is shaded for them to escape the heat in as well. And we have a shaded area under the deck for the owners to sit and beat the heat. Otherwise kick back and relax on our deck and enjoy the outdoors while watching your dog(s) roam and explore or chill out as well. We also have a disc golf basket for the humans to get some fun in! We have a dog as well that is great with others but we’re more than okay to keep her inside if your dog(s) prefer their alone time. Parking is free on the street or in the driveway.

A hidden gem in the midst of Smyrna! Nested within the city limits is 25 acres of beauty and splendor - creeks, woods, field, trails, and a crystal clear spring. One side of the property is bordered by rock springs and has some natural fencing consistent with a century old farm and homestead. Walk back in time and enjoy the boundless scenery. Please be aware of the water features as the spring is deep and moves swiftly through the property. An abundance of wildlife live on the farm so don’t be surprised by deer, hawks, skunks, rabbits, raccoons and such. The water levels are usually below the knee, but the ability to use Mill Creek safely depends on you, the creek conditions, and amount of recent rainfall. Always assess the abilities of you and your pets- as safety comes first! As Dirty Harry once said, "A man's got to know his limitations." The majority of the property has fencing so once you pass the house on your way to the back fields it's off leash play time! I recommend consider walking the perimeter first (on or off leash) to orient yourself with property features and assess potential escape opportunities. Your dog(s) will benefit from a perimeter walk allowing them to visually identify, mark their spots, and collect sniffs while at the same time reaping the benefit of your pack leaving an invisible "bread crumb" scent trail as you walk which will assist a dog with future identification of the established boundaries as well. This is a natural instinct for many breeds. Note that Mill Creek along the back of the entire property is not fenced but it is mostly obscured at dogs level by trees and vegetation. Tip: When leaving, you may want to leash up before you reach the house - especially if you have a runner since there is no fence on the side of the house you enter and leave the spot. Depending on the water table, there is also a small feeder stream gently flowing through the middle of the property between the side and back fields. It can be great fun for a dog to explore and jump in and out of (just try and stop them!) And great for smaller dogs if Mill Creek is too intimidating. Hint: bring towels! The mature tree lines always provide plenty of shade for those hot summer months. Several foot bridges are available to cross over that small stream between the side and back fields while exploring, and you might even find the occasional old fashioned rope wood swing. 7Acres Challenge: See if you can find the hidden steps! A black hose with spray wand attachment is hanging by the house at the entrance/exit if you need to rinse you or your pet. Another green hose is available hanging on the opposite corner in the back of the house by the BACK garage door for your use along with a water bowl. Feel free to pick yourself wildflowers if they are blooming (late Spring/Summer Varieties), or snack on some blackberries off the fence line if you happen to come while they are ripening (usually mid-June to mid-July).... Bug spray is always recommended spring through fall, Just in case! There are two chairs under the deck in the shade if you'd like to sit and relax. Feel free to use the hose if your pup needs to cool off. NOTES: - We have some larger toddler toys in the yard (slide, toy lawn mowers, etc.) - There are 2 dogs that live in the house. The dogs will be kept inside, however, one of the dogs may be visible to your dog(s) through a door with clear glass. - We have poop scooped 1x per week and the yard is sprayed for ticks (non-toxic) every month.

Your fee is 100% donated to Critter Calvary Rescue of Williamson County, in memory of our dogs in my pictures, who have passed away of old age. We have 2 areas for your dog! Front yard with Iron Fence and human seating! Back yard with chain link fence and human seating - and a deck with seating! The back yard is mostly dirt and on a hill, with some ground leaves and grass. If you wish a flat yard with lush grass, we highly suggest booking a grass SniffSpot, Ashley's SniffSpot at https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/nashville-tn/ashley-s-private-nations-dog-park-53368 which is just a mile from our SniffSpot! We have taken this very seriously, and have landscaping pros inspecting each day to remove hazards. Our research found that the families in the 1950's would burn their trash in the back yard, so the shards have emerged in the dirt surrounding our older home. We are digging and removing these each week.

Hello! Welcome to our home! We hope you feel comfortable in our back yard. Fully fenced in with two entrances/exits, balls and ball thrower, water dish for you pup and plenty of seating for you while your pup roams and runs! We also have a sandbox for little ones, a trike and scooter. We have a cement patio with a fire pit and lights but the rest of our 1/2 acre back yard is grass. Shade!!! Bring your pups to the country! We have crossed fenced part of our field for the dogs to enjoy! The space is mostly open with some large trees sprinkled throughout. The perimeter makes a great walking loop that you and your dog can both enjoy! There are wood piles, rock piles, groundhog holes, and other typical country stuff (right now there are a bunch of fallen trees piled up) This is a field and not our back yard. We hope your pups will enjoy the wide open space to run as much as ours do!
