55This place is absolutely amazing! Margaret is an amazing home and the property is beautiful. I took my 6 month old whippet and 3 year old German shepherd. I can honestly say, this was probably the most fun they ever had. Will be back soon! Samantha B.

55This is a amazing spot! My dog loved it, she is very dog reactive and it makes it difficult for her to be able to enjoy being outside and this spot is perfect and secluded. Will definitely be back!Brittany K.

55We cannot wait to come back! Such a fabulous sniff spot! Margaret was an incredible host! She reached out about inclement weather the day before our initially scheduled visit and suggested we reschedule, which was super sweet, so we swapped days and had perfect weather.
I brought my four personal dogs and they absolutely loved the open fields to tear around and be crazy! It has been raining for days so it was pretty wet with puddles on part of the walking trail but the dogs didn't care and I was in waterproof boots so it was all good. The puddles were actually lovely to clean off the muck from the really mucky spots down by the stream. We ventured down to the stream and it was big fun, the dogs love water and were splashing around even with temps in the 40s.
The water bucket and cooler with snacks, water, and a map were VERY appreciated!tena p.

55Another awesome visit to this property! Starting to get green out there! I had my 4 dogs with me and they adventured all over the place and it was finally nice enough to really get to enjoy the creek!
This is my favorite sniff spot, in large part because of the FABULOUS host! A few weeks ago I mentioned some large holes on the path in a spot my dogs love to race in the tall grass but I always panic that they will hit a hole (I normally stand over one but there were 2 holes). On my visit today both holes were filled! I'm so glad I don't need to worry about them racing in that spot!tena p.

55Our boys (and us) really enjoyed this spot!! Directions were spot on. Host is extremely gracious. The grounds are beautiful and very safe. We have 2 reactavie dogs and it was such a relief to be able to let them run and not constantly worry about other dogs. They had so much fun. They especially enjoyed the creek area. I wish we would of spent more time down there walking the woods instead of the fields only because the dogs enjoy the wood more. I didn't see the stream marked on the map until we we almost done but it was still a great time. We drive over an hour to get there and so glad we did!! Thank you for opening your property for dogs and their people to enjoy. We definitely will be back! Our boys thank you as well especially for the huge milk bones at the end of our walk!Keri N.

55A truly beautiful spot! My water obsessed dog loved the swimming hole and creek, and it was beautiful hiking! The wildflowers were plentiful. Margaret was communicative and gracious when I got a flat tire and couldn’t leave on time. My many thanks to her son Andrew for his help with putting my donut on. We will definitely be back soon!Mikaela S.

55Another fabulous trip! The hosts recently mowed out an additional path around the property to walk (though we don't always stick to the path). We didn't get to walk it today, but I'm so excited to walk the path next time. But these' regular improvements are why this is my favorite local-ish sniffspot <3 tena p.

55We love to visit Margaret’s spot when we are in the area visiting friends; we sometimes even drive 90 minutes for the pleasure. It’s totally worth it. We have so enjoyed seeing the new trails and exploring new parts of the property. Gabrielle J.

55Margaret the host went above and beyond! Left treats and water for my dogs. The property is beautiful. Marked and cleared trails, serene woodlands and the creek was so beautiful. I’ll be back every weekend! Lydia F.

55As always a fabulous trip to this sniff spot! The grass outside the mowed path is tall, so we didn't explore as much off the path as we normally would but we had a fabulous time. The dogs frolicked happily and enjoyed running through the tall grass. Today the blue trail in the woods that goes down to the creek is pretty over grown, and it's hard to see that turn off if you've never taken it before (we got down about 3/4s of the way but it rained last night and it was a little slick and with it being overgrown, the footing was already a little bit unknown, so we walked back up after clearing a few downed branches). We enjoyed our lovely adventure as always, can't wait to come back again. Just a heads up, there's ton of poison ivy at the edges of the mowed path in some sections. I didn't see any popping up on the path itself, but i was sure to wipe down my dogs and my self before getting in my car just in case. tena p.

55A spectacular place - like a park that is just yours for a while. I'd recommend getting it for more than one hour. There's so much to explore & we didn't have time to see even half of it. We'll certainly be back! Judy T.

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
