A safe, country 300+ acre farm that neighbors call LabLand:). ADDRESS We have a creek, & vacant, WELL fenced field for non aggressive dogs. We have hundreds of sheep so we gotta move sheep off adjacent pasture before you come so call evening ahead so we can prepare for your visit. We work 1 day out from a reservation. Hello! My name is Katie and we are so excited to offer our yard space to your furry best friend. My family has lived in an apartment the last two years while house hunting in Crozet, and we have learned how difficult it is to have dogs without access to a yard. Now that we are settling into our new home, we are excited to offer our space for afternoon fetch, morning zoomies, and just lounging in the sunshine. Animals just make the world a better place. You will always have complimentary access to our hammock and swing gazebo. Please refrain from using the kids play equipment! Come enjoy some nature time in our yard in Crozet. :) Arrival Notes: When you arrive you can park anywhere on our gravel driveway. The gate to the right of the house that goes into our garden is where you will enter. This “holding” area in the garden gives you a chance to triple check there are no lingering guests or animals in the yard. Once you are in our backyard please shut the gate behind you. Most guests enjoy hanging out in the firepit area where there are hammock swings and seating. Along the fence, you will see a spot for water, toys, and other things I thought you may need. We ask that guests not utilize our small deck near the house, so that our dogs don’t bark and disturb their stay! So far all of our guests have come a second time, so if you end up booking again, I’d love any feedback on how to make your visit extra special. We have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! We’re just minutes from Interstate 66 & 81. We are also offering many amenities such as cold water for you and your dog! A dog pool, plenty of chairs located sporadically in the shade and one in the middle with an umbrella for shade! We have even put a hammock out there if you want to relax while your dog gets his/her energy out! We have also provided toys, costumes for dress up, light treats and we have a water source for cleaning off the paws as well as towels to dry your pooch before getting back in the car! The private dog park is 100% fenced in and while you’re here our dogs will be in the house so they are not a distraction. All you need to bring is your dog and yourself and you’re sure to have a great time! The proceeds from this Sniffspot will go to our Nonprofit Animal Rescue, Maci Blue Animal Rescue! Pet Care of Charlottesville offers personalized in-home pet care services from 30 min. visits to 24-hr overnight care in the client’s home. We also offer private in-home boarding. When our owner’s property is not booked for boarding, the yard is available to book for use on Sniff Spot.

Accompany your dog on an adventure to find hidden treats and unique smells such as dog safe plants and wild life (current smell is grouse) in our Sniffari Yard! Please let us know how tall your dog is and your dog's treat preference (treats do not contain chicken, wheat or corn). Choice of treats: freeze dried beef liver, duck, or salmon (contains soy).

We selectively open our dog friendly yard on a per day basis (6 hours = $90). Shade and sun, digging and sleeping, zoomies and cuddles, we got ya! We are pet positive and flow your trained prompts. Only one or two families at a time with loads of love from us!

We have an easy access, fully fenced area in our back yard for your dogs to enjoy and relax in.

We live on .5 acres, we have a big fenced in back yard! We would love to share the large back with reactive dogs who aren’t able to enjoy a normal dog park or daycare!
